I've come across this bizarre belief quite a few times already, and even had a (quite heated) argument with a brainless baby-boomer on Christmas Day about it. He thought I was "being selfish", and said "I don't want to catch your virus", to which I responded with, "I DON'T HAVE IT!"
Your virus; right, because this is somehow all OUR fault, and not China's!
What is wrong with these people? Are they just brain-dead? Do they lack a soul? Are they NPC's (non-playable characters)?
As someone once put it, "My rights don't end where your fears begin". If you're the type of person who is easily terrified by government and corporate media lies, then by all means, do stay at home cowering under the bed, but leave the rest of us (that is, those of us who are actually sane, because you're clearly not) to get on with our lives.

This was true of masks, too. People quickly abandoned any pretense of cloth masks protecting the wearer from covid. The whole justification for them was to help inhibit the unknowingly infected from spreading it through water droplets on the breath. All those so called protections were based on the presumption that you were the one who was infected.

There is obviously no logic behind two people who are uninfected taking precautions with each other, but that's what we were asked to do.

Furthermore, it's actual policy to not care about infection. Places don't check you for covid, they check for your vax pass. You can have covid, test positive, and know it, and if you're vaccinated you can still get in, because they only check for the shot, and the shot doesn't make you immune.

I have a question? If the anti-vaxxers haven't died, haven't been infected, so they aren't carrying it but vaccinated people are getting it again and getting the variant. I guess I'm confused how the vaccine works I guess. 2nd question, Everytime I've been sick and told I had a virus, I've been told that viruses just have to run their course because vaccine's don't work on them? I guess, baaa baaa little sheep, but this one is not getting anymore shots. I chose to get the first 2, the next 72 I'm choosing not to get.

Not everyone believes that way. Someone I know and is close to me did not want to get vaccinated. Now she is deathly ill. For some reason she thought she was immune. I just wore a mask when I was around her. I never said anything about it to her.

The only thing I can say is that a lot of people just seem to be listening to government advice. For example my mother is always quoting what Boris Johnson has said haha 😂 and because he keeps saying the only way out of this is to get jabs she won't accept anything other than now! I'm fully vaccinated but I never ask any one else if they are as it's not my business. Hope this helps 😊 my mum is elderly now so she's very scared of covid. Even though she is triple jabbed she is still wearing masks every where and distancing from others. I'm really hoping one day things will change!

So what difference should it make if the neighbor is vaccinated or not. We are protected correct?
