Now that Donald is pro-vaccine Republicans are turning on him. Will the GOP destroy itself?

A good troll attempt is more subtle, but I'll answer this question, nonetheless. Trump is pro vaccine, but this issue isn't damaging his popularity with conservatives because he's not pushing it on anyone. It's there if you want to get it, if not that's fine too. Conservatives might have strong personal opinions about the vaccines, but ultimately they realize it's an individual decision. That's in stark contrast to Joe Biden and his supporters, some of whom have gone so far as to say the non vaccinated should be refused medical treatment if they get sick.
Yes, a troll attempt should be more subtle. You shouldn't post an obvious troll user name with an age of 105 years old. You have failed in all areas at trolling.
Dude, trump supporters will never turn on trump. They will claim that liberals brainwashed him or something.
And none of them will come to Owens' defense.
LOLx10023234543!!!
They've already turned on him. They're booing him at rallies and burning Trump hats.
Really? I have not seen that. All I see is that undying love.
But if you have information I would like to see it.
The video I just posted is of a GOP senator burning a MAGA hat and there are tons of YouTube videos of his supporters booing him whenever he mentions the vaccine.

Where is the guy? It is just a dude narrating a story I have never seen or read. Bring a former trumper here who hates his guts now?
Even if they exist, they would never advertise, they would be scared for their lives. Did you note the complete silence when Owens confronted trump?
It was hilarious that she didn't know her place in trump world.

He has been pro-vaccine the entire time. If you recall, he was the one who pushed operation wrap speed from the very start. He got vaccinated at the end of 2020. This whole narrative about him not supporting the vaccine is the left Mandella effecting itself to make Trump the enemy at all times. No matter what their stance is Trump magically morphs into whatever they are against. While Trump was in office, you can see the left hesitant about the vaccine (e. g Kamala Harris around October 2020) -- as if it's dangerous because it's "Trump's vaccine". But once he's out, the left make it their vaccine and decide they are pro-vaccine, mandates and all. So therefore Trump must retroactively become anti-vax in order magically morph into whatever flavor of boogeyman the left wants at the time.
To be fair he was pro vaccine day one. Warpspeed was him. He talked about coming out with a vaccine soon and Kamala said she'd never take a vaccine that came from Trumps administration.
He made his stance known very quickly. He was just supportive of not mandating it. That said, yes many right wing people are mad at him. Will they tear themselves apart over it? Doubt it. Because Biden is the ultimate evil at this time effecting all our lives.
People are just also mad at Trump
@goaded
Not misinformation. Her point was clear. Your bias is just overwriting your ability to be honest here
"If Fauci says to take it I'm taking it...; if Trump says to take it I'm not taking it"

Trump had doctors approving the process. Let's try to keep bias from skewing obvious points. This tangent wasn't even the basis of the topic of this post
If you knew she said "If Fauci says to take it I'm taking it...; if Trump says to take it I'm not taking it", why did you say "Kamala said she'd never take a vaccine that came from Trumps administration"? It's not the same thing.
As to Trump, he didn't wear a mask in public until July 2020, and was given his vaccine in private without even an announcement. These are not the acts of a man who wants to encourage people to stay safe.
No, the point she was making was "If Fauci says to take it I'm taking it...; if Trump says to take it I'm not taking it", which seems pretty clear to me. She didn't trust Trump to tell us the truth, especially if he could profit from a lie.
You're the one trying to spin it as if she would reject something good just because it was developed under Trump's presidency.
@goaded nah, upon looking at your profile it seems that you just find a way to argue about Trump all day long anywhere you can. And now that I think about it I remember talking to you on one other occasion to where you went out of your way to have a discussion about Trump because of the comment that I stated. That's your thing
Quit being a pest
As long as Trump remains anti-mandate the overwhelmingly majority of his base are fine with him. Anti-vaxx has never been a partisan issue and anyone in the media who claims it is are either stupid or malicious.
anti-mandate, from the party that wants to take away the right to abortion and gay marriage.
I doubt it. The difference between the GOP and the Dems are that the GOP tolerate differences in belief. Democrats attempt to harass or cancel anyone that doesn't 100% agree with their narrative.
How does the GOP tolerate any differences in belief? They hate anybody who is slightly different. And Ted Cruz was groveling like a coward on Fox News.
@John_Doesnt You're allowed to believe whatever you like, as long a you say the "right" thing and vote the "right" way.
Look at the two who are willing to stand up for democracy.
Sorry, I was referring to Republican lawmakers/breakers. That there's not one of them who realises that at least some of the BBB policies would be good for their constituents is beyond belief. But there aren't any that will vote for it (or negotiate in good faith down to something they will vote for).
I’m gonna cut off your foot, but then give you a free ride to the hospital. Sound good?
That’s how BBB sounds to me. There might be some good stuff in there, but there’s a whole lot of bad, and it’s expensive as hell.
Do you know what a working Senate does in that situation? People in opposition negotiate the legislation down to something at least a few of them in purple states can and will vote for (even if they think it's bad overall), so that they get the good stuff. They lost, they don't get to pick and choose that much, but they can do something good for their constituents.
For ages, now, the Republicans have simply said that if they don't like legislation (it's not something they would have proposed themselves) they won't give a single vote to it. Then, whatever does get passed, they claim credit for the good stuff despite having voted not to have it.
The question is if partisan politics and peoples lack of critical thinking has already destroyed our Constitutional Democratic Republic.
Trump will roar through primaries and get nomination. Only Republican stupid enough to run against him would be Chaney or the Morman.
He has same followers , they see economy being trashed by Biden. People vote their pocketbook mostly.
Trump was never Anti-Vax. He was the one that got the vaccine created in the first place. Republicans are not turning on him either. They all realize he is the driving force behind the new Republican Party.
The old Republican party is probably dead and is now the party of Donald. Say goodbye to the GOP and tell Lincoln to roll over in his grave.
@John_Doesnt yes, the party has evolved into the party of working class Americans. Cops, Firefighters and union guys who were traditionally democrat are sick of seeing their tax dollars go for the democrats failed social policies. Anyone with a decent job has become a Republican.
How is Donald a working class American? He was born rich and is rich. He's never worked a day in his life.
He's not a working class American, he what they aspire to, even while ensuring their chances of moving social class dwindle. If the Democrats run Clinton again, they'll lose against practically anyone.
This is long, 47 minutes, but it's worth a look.

Do people not realize that trump was always pro vaccine?
Go look at past interviews of when he was still in office. He always encouraged people to go get vaccinated. It’s like people only tune into politics when it’s convenient for them
It's true that he was positive about vaccines on twitter, although it was overshadowed by a slow rollout and his fixation on the election.

On the other hand, he also said the country was "rounding the corner" on the pandemic without them. And he kept calling it "the China virus".

do people not realize he was telling people to inject themselves with bleach and use horse medication?
@John_Doesnt did you realize that people like you have no sense of humor these days? Are you that stupid to think he actually meant that?
He was serious.
"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you're going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds—it sounds interesting to me."
How much context do you want? Here's the whole transcript: trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/.../
What the scientist said: "We’re also testing disinfectants readily available. We’ve tested bleach, we’ve tested isopropyl alcohol on the virus, specifically in saliva or in respiratory fluids. And I can tell you that bleach will kill the virus in five minutes; isopropyl alcohol will kill the virus in 30 seconds, and that’s with no manipulation, no rubbing — just spraying it on and letting it go. You rub it and it goes away even faster. We’re also looking at other disinfectants, specifically looking at the COVID-19 virus in saliva."
(Note, they didn't say anything about the saliva still being in a person, because that would be dangerous, as every parent knows.)
The next day, the WH spokesperson said: "President Trump has repeatedly said that Americans should consult with medical doctors regarding coronavirus treatment, a point that he emphasized again during yesterday's briefing. Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context and run with negative headlines."
Later that day, Trump said "I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," (he was not).

I don't know but it kinda says something to the people who insists he is a cult leader. Cults don't exactly boo their leaders.
Ha! He won’t be the nominee in 2024 anyway. He is way too old now. The magic is gone.
