It’s not uniform and is unconstitutional - illegal.
Well considering the whole entire presidency from Andrew Johnson to now are all fraudulent, anything is possible. The USA has been under martial law since Lincoln.
The real question is where does that Article I, section 8, clause 1 stand under martial law, or even emergency powers?
If they created a vax tax they may as well word it like the stamp tax and tea tax which started the revolutionary war

You would think, but when I look at taxes as a whole, why didn't people complain ages ago and stop it permanently? What happens if you don't pay your car tax or land tax. Then there's the outrageous income tax. Your income is taxed, the things you buy is taxes, companies that make those items are taxed, they raise their goods because they were taxed... tax on top of tax on top of tax and does anyone do anything about it?

@Daniela1982, that’s a part of Federalism. Blame the state of California. Vote with your feet. If you don’t like the high taxes there, move to Texas or Florida like the millions of people and thousands of businesses that have left in the last decade.
I’m not a fan of the current Federal tax system and believe that the Fair Tax is the way to go, but the current federal tax code is uniform as it has brackets.
Move away from California? Yeah, as long as you don't care about the faults of the other states. There always is one, mine is no big city with many stores near by, but that can be a good thing. Well just thinking out loud, lol.
