yea, it's good my girlfriend and I discuss political issues especially as it relates to family and raising kids and see things similar, but don't take it so critically either... as in we don't get upset about stuff we cannot control or waste energy on it.
religiously, she is aware of what I believe but not same. That works fine because she supports me and encourages without being judgmental. I accept her view, I understand it and was there before and chose a different path, although I'm fairly open minded.
So the way we handle things helps reduce stress and improve connection. That's most important I think. Else differences of viewpoint can cause emotional breakdown of relationship.

I don’t date believers. whether it’s religion or new age alternative healing magic. I wouldn’t date a MAGA-head because they believe nonsense and are racist. Nor would I date someone who considers themselves tolerant but cancels anyone who dares to disagree.
