I would be open to religious individuals and agnostics, however I would probably avoid atheists as I feel that would be a big issue in the relationship. I wouldn't force them to believe in God or ask them to go to church with me, but I would want them to understand that I choose to go to church and refuse to give that up and believe in God.

Very few atheists have been chill with my preferences, but some of the encounters I had seemed to come from those really bent on trying to make me feel foolish and stupid for believing in it and that is something I wouldn't want to deal with.

Yes. I'm straight up atheist, but I have no problem partaking in religion. I view it in the same light as dating someone from a foreign culture. They may do some things differently, but that's fine. For example, if my wife had wanted to get married in a church, or have a hand binding ceremony, I'd be ok with that. So long as they don't expect me to believe it, or to do anything I find morally reprehensible, it wouldn't bother me at all.

No. I'm an atheist and am too interested in the subject of theistic claims and pseudo-science for it to not be something we ended up talking about fairly regularly. Plus I admire skepticism and critical thinking skills in a partner.

I am a Christian. I have dated women who are Christians, Jews, agnostics and atheists. I did not tolerate them questioning my beliefs and I practiced the strategy of St. Thomas of Aquinas: "preach a good sermon and use words if necessary." I assume that if I live a Christian life and I set a role model that someone else wants to follow, I am being a good Christian. I don't need (or want) to argue with people about religion.

I think that she is a cafeteria Catholic: someone who picks and chooses what she feels like- including the use of birth control.

I'm agnostic as well. I would date a religious person as long as they respect my views on religion. If they tried to say "you're wrong and I'm right" then I would cut them off.

There can be a vast difference between someone who is "religious" and someone who has accepted Jesus as Savior. The two do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.

I got someone who is interested in me. She is my moms coworkers daughter. She is uber religious. her nose is in the bible.. I rather not do that if you eat, shit, sleep and spit scripture.
