Triage is still relevant to the conversation. What sources do you have and how sick is the person. With limitations with hospital beds, staffing, oxygen, respirator shortage you have to triage.

It's at a breaking point and the covid19 is turning more and more like organ transplant limitations. If you can't stop drinking alcohol you won't get a new liver because 100 other people that will actually take care of that liver need that same liver to survive. It's not an individual judgment on the person but ultimately maximizing the limitations of the sources any medical care has.

I have always maintained that taking or not taking the COVID vaccines, or indeed any vaccine, is and should remain a personal choice and that no effort should be made to pressure or force anyone in either direction.
