Come the moment, comes the time, for some. They were clearly meant to be shown the error of their ways which is why they were at the right place at the right time, with all their stupidity to identify them as a free meal.00 Reply

+1 yThat’s very immature not to help someone because of their politics.
24 Reply- +1 y
Think that's bad. Look at the response someone else gave. He is convinced it's a good idea to run over them and then get out and shoot them
Yikes! - +1 y
I don’t see it, the guy must have me blocked 😂 just goes to show how immature he is
- +1 y
He blocked me too after I had the gall to disagree. He accused me of being a "communist" , which I am not. (I'm a life-long free market Republican). I'm just not someone that thinks life in Florida is actually like GTA:Vice City. I can send you the screenshots though.
- +1 y
😂😂😂 oh I think I know who it was
I'd definitely call for help. I dont know a thing about cars so I couldn't help them that way but if they seem in distress and can't get out of the car then yeah I'd get out to help too.

+1 yOf course I help. Political preference has nothing to do with a person in need. Besides, just because there are a bumper stickers on the car doesn't mean the driver and passengers put them there. Maybe they borrowed the car from a friend or family member.

+1 yI tend to want to try to help in this scenario even if the man or woman has a giant swastika on his/her car. I usually don't think much about politics anyway. It annoys me.
112 Reply- +1 y
But take the worst-case scenario for me which is like a swastika or white pride logo or something like that. That might even make things dangerous for me since I'm not white to try to offer aid. But then I figure maybe just helping someone like that might help persuade them that someone like me isn't so bad.
- +1 y
You would, of course want to be cautious, but you may be right that it will teach them to view you a person and not a skin color
- +1 y
I think I'm just wired impulsively to want to help people who seem to need it a lot. I might have a borderline "superhero" complex although I hardly want to save the world and I'm too lazy to turn this into a full-time job. But I see someone immediately in front of me in trouble and I wanna impulsively rush to their aid. The last thing I'm thinking about is who they are or their political affiliations.
- +1 y
I was a LEO so for me it was a full time job, but I would really hate to see someone trying to help and be hurt for being a good guy.
- +1 y
Leo as in the zodiac sign? I was never much into that stuff although I'm a Taurus if so. Seeing someone punished for trying to do good would also irritate me a lot and spur me into action.
- +1 y
LEO as in Law Enforcement Officer.
- +1 y
Oops, LEO stands for "law enforcement officer"? That would make much more sense to me now. :-D Apologies for being slow. English isn't my first language and I'm especially out of the loop sometimes with popular acronyms.
- +1 y
Not at all. You are perfectly fine.
- +1 y
I see now! I often dreamed of working in such a job. I'm a software engineer and the products we produce are solely for entertainment. Sometimes I wish I had a more noble profession like yours.
- +1 y
I am retired now and to be honest, would not go back. It can be an ugly job
- +1 y
I'm one of those types where I seem to be at my best in the worst-case scenarios, like crisis scenarios. I find I become the best when people need me to be the most. But on a mundane day, I'm too prone to work towards apathy, laziness, and even sometimes a borderline asshole. So as odd as it sounds, I kind of look forward to the moments that bring out that best side of me. I get uncomfortable when things are too peaceful and quiet.
- +1 y
LEO sounds quite tough to me given what limited ways I can imagine it. A job I often fantasized about when younger was a firefighter rescuing people from burning buildings. I think I might have been decent at that as an adrenaline junkie into extreme sports. Mostly I find as I grow older that I want more opportunities to do well by others. I find the extreme ways easier than the more mundane ways.

+1 yOf course I would help him. I don't put politics about a humans life in danger.

*above not about
First of all, I wouldn't care what political party they are or if they were a man or woman I will not get out of my car, being gullible in this world will get you hurt, Ill call it into the police if needed but not getting out of my car.
00 ReplyI wouldn't be picking up mentally unstable people known for being criminals on some random dark road. Some car broken down on the road gimmick being used as an ambush point makes it even less likely.
012 Reply- +1 y
Yeah. Pretty sure that that isn't actually legal there
- +1 y
I grew up in Oviedo and most of my family is still there. I can promise you that running over people and then shooting them isn't legal there.
I can understand how GTA:Vice City might give you that impression, but it's not. - +1 y
Whatever that is, it's not a working link.
- +1 y
I did however look up Florida Statute 776.013 and it says that you may use "Deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that using or threatening to use such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony."
Someone's car in a ditch would not constitute a reason to believe that. - +1 y
Like i said. I looked it up and that does not say anywhere that if you see a car in a ditch you can run people over and shoot them.
It says you can use "Deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that using or threatening to use such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony."
A car in a ditch is not a reasonable belief that any of that is happening.
Kind of seems like you are just looking for an excuse my man.

+1 yI'll help in stages:
First, see if the guy/s is/are injured. Help, if this is the case.
Last: piss all over the vehicle :D10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI would want to. But I've seen the violence in liberal cities like Chicago. If I know they're liberal and it's a dark road the odds go up exponentially that they'll rob me. I know how they like redistribution of wealth.
But I'll tell you what when I get to a gas station I'll inform them of their where-a-bouts.00 Reply
+1 ySure, why not?
They’re still human and in need.20 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The occupants of the car are human beings. Politics or anything else aside, I'd render as much aid as I could.
20 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Nope. I will not help democrats anymore after these last few years. I won't even place a call to help them either.
04 Reply- +1 y
You give people on the right a bad name. You need to be a patriot and rise above the hate. You are not helping this country by making decisions with hate in your heart.

@PinkMichae
Look at the other responses. (BeMuse) This is better than the guy that responded saying he thinks it's legal to run them over and shoot them. - +1 y
Democrats riot, murder, rob, steal, burn down property, etc. and you expect sympathy for them? People on the right being too tolerant is what led to democrats being as bad as they are now. No more mercy for any of them.
The guy wanting to run them over and shoot them is totally reasonable. Democrats in riots attacked multiple people when they got them to stop their car. I would do the same. CCWs are good to have. It was ruled that people blocking traffic or on the highway can be run over legally now specifically because of the ones pulling people out of their vehicles after they stopped and jumping them. - +1 y
Only a minority of democrats do extreme things. Because they are loud doesn't mean they speak for all democrats.. you are acting extreme just like extreme leftist. You are part of the problem.
+1 yIf I could. The world's not going to become a better place if we don't work to make it one.
10 Reply18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Hell no! One less voter biatch!
Of course I would help. As I have. One guy tapped into me on the highway, very minor damage. He was in a bad way so I let it pass. Had a giant Trump sticker. Not a big deal.00 Reply605 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I don't give a shit about politics so sure why not.
00 Reply26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, I would just drive by because I know they would do the same to me.
