Fauci has a LONG history of going against the science for his own agenda, and for doing absolutely awful things in the name of science. For those who aren't aware, Fauci has been around since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, and like now, he was pushing for an AIDS vaccine - which they've worked on for over 30 years now with no significant results - and in his pursuit of his vaccine policy, he caused significant delays (as in, a decade) in the development and the deployment of treatments that are now used to significantly extend the lives of those infected with HIV. Tens of thousands have died because they weren't able to get those treatments, because Fauci fought to defund that research and then pushed to block or delay FDA approval.

This is also a man who runs an island of captive monkeys that are bred and kept caged their whole lives so that they can be used in his experiments, where these animals are purposely infected with diseases and then examined to see how the diseases progress, all the while the monkeys are in agony.

You might also have heard that they were using dogs in some experiments where they were covered with diseased sand flies, that literally ate the dogs alive, and because the dogs were crying in pain so much, Fauci ordered their vocal cords be cut so they couldn't make noise as they were dying in pain.

Fauci also orchestrated the "gain of function" research at Wuhan because he couldn't do this legally in the US or Europe, so if he directed funding to China - where most of the world didn't bother to pay attention to what was going on - he could get it done there. He's tried to use semantics and tortured definitions of words to say that this wasn't technically "gain of function" research even though many other geneticists would strongly disagree.

But make no mistake - Fauci is the American Dr. Mengele, and if he could legally experiment on humans, you can bet he'd be doing so. His only interests are in doing his experiments and pushing vaccines - whether they work or not. That's always been his focus, and he's never cared who suffers or dies in the process.
Unfortunately, he's also been in his position a very long time, and has been able to create an image for himself as a hero, so he's been "popular," so he's built himself a lot of power over the years and made it hard to get rid of him.
