Do you think we value women more than we value men?

Bad things happen to everyone but people actually seem to care more and want to help when bad things happen to women. Does this mean women have it easier? Men are basically left to deal with their issues alone. Why do you think that is? I personally think the only reason women are valued more is because they give birth. I think if women didn't then they would receive the same treatment as men.

I agree but I didn't want to sound too wimpy. I think boys are made to understand at a very younge age that nobody really cares about us. I don't resent women for it, it's just how the world works. I'm just curious as to why this is a reality. I mean, mental health isn't taken as seriously as it should be for both genders, women just have a slightly better support system. I'm just curious what you think the reason for that is?

I don't think, I know. Nobody cares about men, not even other men. Women lack any empathy for men and only think about men's needs or feelings as it pertains to them. Everyone wants to help women, nobody cares about a guy with a problem.

I think there's a whole stereotype that a man isn't a real man if he shows vulnerability or weakness. Women reinforce this stereotype by saying it's ok to be vulnerable, but are actually repulsed by the sight of a "weak" man. Other men are brought up to hide their feelings for fear of being ostracized by society. Everyone is to blame. Men suffer more from acts of violence, drug addiction, alcoholism, mental health issues, suicide and so much more, but nobody talks about it because a man who's vulnerable is offputting and seen as a lesser man by society.

Men have always been more expendable.
If a village loses 50% of its men it can repopulate relatively quickly but not if it loses 50% of its women.
And artificial wombs won't be around for a while.

The first thing I said was bad things happen to everyone. People care when bad things happen to women more than when bad things happen to men. That's the only difference.

Maybe they "care".. but when? after a massive burnout? emotional crisis? etc

This is why feminism will never be over. You can't even acknowledge the lack of sympathy we have for male victims of any sort. There is no equality when everything is about women. If more women would advocate for men more often and not exclude them men would be more inclined to advocate for women. Not saying it would fix everything, but, it would be a step in the right direction, a direction that we all would benefit from. It's so easy but it will never happen and its genuinely frustrating.

I'm just saying, when men are telling you 'I don't feel like I am cared for" and instead of offering a little sympathy, you immediately dismiss it by saying "well, it's hard for us too." (When I already said that. ) doesn't seem like an act of compassion. YOU may not feel like men have a valid reason to feel this way, but, if dosen't matter. What matters, is that this how men feel and women don't put in any effort to change that.
