Hopefully not, however if you look at it globally it’s looking like it might be inevitable.

Russia needs to backdown but it will not, because of that NATO will not remove the pressure and will keep putting pressure on Russia.

The concern is not so much the ground troops on the borders but the fact that pretty much the entire Russian Navy’s main assets are at sea.

Additionally, they have shifted some of their Pacific fleet into the med en route to Black Sea.

This is in addition to the Kalingrad battle group (including an amphibious ware fare group).

Personally it’s a bit like WW1 where existing treaties and manoeuvring resulted in almost being i possible to stop war breaking out.

Probably not. Eastern Europe is just a shitshox of Russian and NATO forces conducting "Military Exercises". In reality they're just loudly shooting big guns so the other can hear it.
