They could do a Canadian screw job on him. Suspend his license, drop his insurance, ban travel (their goes his music) , freeze his credit cards and bank accounts (there goes his band), take his 3 dogs.

Should he risk his income and travel and is driving privileges supporting the Truckers?

Yes , the US Gov't can pull a Canada and can ruin him

Is it weird that I think it is a mistake for the US truckers to reveal when they are going to do their own convoy? I feel like it would be a more effective protest if they did it by surprise so that the feds wouldn't be as ready for them. The truckers would have more time to get the message across before the feds intervene.

I'd also imagine that this will give feds all the time the need to throw undercover agents in there to find lies to smear the truckers with.

He is exercising his First Amendment rights. As long as he does not break any laws he cannot be prosecuted. He is a public figure and it will not look good if he ends up in the same black hole that biden sent the Jan 6th guys and also his first dog that used to bite people.
