Nuclear war would devastate America, Europe and Russia. But we forget that's not the whole world. What of those countries not taking part? Who will benefit the most from the destruction of us?

Dunno why people are saying China like there not ones who would get involved in self mutual destruction too along with them been close to Russia.

It would be more remote islands and that could possibly live and come out relatively fine. There is the possibility everyone would just die but humans are quite resilient along with other animals, whether it be the guy who lived through 2 nukes or stranded on a Island. Or that one Human who lived through the ice age and yet us humans still live today and regained population. Even Dinosaurs still exist today such as Crocodiles or as we know that chickens/birds are decedents of such dinosaurs.
Life turns out to be pretty hard to kill. Maybe just like Oxygen how it was a poison we adapted to life would adapt to radiation. But who knows, maybe a new species would take over or just the world blows up and thinks fuck it i am out lol.

It would be tough but honestly I would have somewhat a prediction that a group of humans somewhere could carry on. Though much like Albert Einstein said "World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

I was going to say China, but they would have just lost 80% of their customer base for cheap crap on eBay, Wish and Amazon. Maybe the Middle East, but then all that oil isn't going to the gas guzzling countries anymore.
In real terms nobody would benefit initially as there wohld be complete economic collapse globally, well what's left if it. And then in the longer term humanity would more than likely die out due to radiation clouds spreading around the globe, making earth uninhabitable.

I can not pretend that I am not insulted by this. If China can stay out of it they benefit. So does Japan. Possibly Latin American depending on on how quickly they move to secure trade agreements. African nations have too many problems and no real path to solve them until they can start to better utilize the resources they have. Unfortunately that has eluded the leaders of the continent since Roman times.
Taiwan would suffer the most because China would take it. The rest of the world would suffer as well, but not as badly due the lack of Western money flowing into them.

In total nuclear war, the Northern Hemisphere would be totally destroyed. The Southern Hemisphere would originally survive, and then everyone on the planet would eventually day from radiation and/or climate change caused by the nuclear bombs. @Crucis84 Southern countries don't have nukes and rockets to deliver them. In a nuclear war, each side with nukes attacks other countries with nukes in hope they won't be successful attacking them. Every war simulation has shown that doesn't work.

If the USA and Russia destroyed each other with nuclear weapons, the whole planet is screwed. the atmosphere would become toxic. Everyone would get sick and die. It is possible to also block out the sun from too many nuclear weapons being detonated and most food wouldn't grow anymore.
