Are Hispanic and Mexican different types of races?

I know Latino/a, Mexican, and Hispanic are all terms that are thrown around a lot so I want to make sure I am using them correctly. Latina/o means people from Latin America. So someone from Ecuador would be Latino/a, right?
Mexican means they're from Mexico. But does that mean you would also describe second-generation or even 4th generation kids of Mexican immigrants who now live in the US as Mexican or latino/a?
Hispanic is a term that is a bit confusing for me. It means that you speak Spanish. But who does it describe in terms of race or is it even a description of race or only what language someone speaks? I've heard people say it is a subset of white but I'm not really sure what that might entail. Does that have to do with Spanish people from Spain? Also, Spanish only means you're from Spain, so someone from Latin America could not be described as Spanish?

I look at it like this You Take 5 people they're all made of the same 97% of the same DNA the other 3% is made up of our genes Who We Are and the ability to adapt you drop off these five different people it different locations on this planet depending on the harsh conditions that we have to put up with each and every day our bodies our skin we have the ability to adapt do anything especially the elements and conditions did this planet puts out so after millions of years those five people depending on their conditions of the harsh elements of their location they have adapted after a million years we are still the same five people 97% same DNA 3% made up of our genes and the ability to adapt which changes color of our pigments depending on our locations on this planet now you take that and you have people that migrated they adapt date change we are all still the same one person

Nope. Mexico is a country, not a race. Mexico was colonized by Spain. For the most part they are White Europeans. There is a large Mestizo population in Mexico which are mixed Native American with primarily White Europeans and some Black ex-slave Afro-Mexicans. There are also Afro-Mexicans as a much smaller minority population who are descendants of the slave trade. Mexico is primarily a White nation. Most Mexican illegal immigrants however are Mestizo. Mestizo tend to be lower class, and being that Mexico is in an economic depression of sorts, the lower class can't find work in their home country so they flood across borders looking for jobs in more prosperous economies.
