Because first of all it's to easy to say there is one answer or reason why so many guys are still single.
There could be tons of reasons. Take me for example I'm 27 now I've never been in a relationship and I've never had sex but in my case there are many things that play a major role.
I'm born with a genetical dysfunction which makes me tall and thin, I'm have problems gaining weight. But I'm also a pretty shy guy I have issues starting a conversation.
What especially men neglect is dating takes preparation. What I didn't know at your age is dating takes a maturity in character but also other aspects.
If you don't behave like a man (accountability, loyalty...) you won't get anything.
Even if it might sound wrong in modern times but guys and women are differently wired. Women do different things for different reasons than we guys.
In my case there are so many issues that I have stopped dating because I have so many problems myself that I couldn't take responsibility for the problems of another person.

I think most people are still single because of their ability to tell too much the truth or just being lairs all together. For some its all about genetics... but that is not what I would say is the blackpill. The reality is that the brutal truth or lack of truth is the real black pill.
