+1 yI was bullied then once I got the green light from my mother to fight back I not only fought back but I guess a switch flipped and I then became a bully and my main target was men. I did not care to go after girls, I wanted to fight the boys. They would piss me off so much getting to be so damn free, idiotic, and think they could touch us girls however they wanted. But I knew I had to reel myself in when I started bullying the boys that were weak and blatantly stereotyped. e. g. immigrants. Once I got a warning to stop fighting from my principal to stop or risk expulsion. I realized that I need to seriously calm down and ask myself why I was doing this. Once I did, I realized that I didn't really have friends. I just had people who were with me because they were scared of me and liked how being with me made them feel like no one would bother them. it was lonely. From then on I became a drifter too scared of what would happen if I allowed myself to get angry, too comfortable being myself or presenting myself as meek resulting in being a target for being bullied.
A strange thing happens though when one has been a bully. It's like other jocks and badass kids can sense you got that same "thing" in you like them and don't mess with you as a result. I never had a problem fitting in per se. I just didn't want to because i was scared of what I'd become... again. ugh I feel like i sound pretentious. Hmm, wonder if I should make a "mytake" on being on both sides. I dunno.00 Reply

The boys would call me pizza face, bumpy freeway. And because I was a petite girl, they used to call me pint size. Then in highschool because I wasn't a whore or a slut or easy, the guys called me Miss Prude. One big girl wanted to kick my butt for no reason. I was all upset about it all night and the next morning. So by lunchtime came, I saw her outside and went up to her and said "Well, if you're going to kick my ass, do it now." She got caught off guard, and didn't lay a hand on me. But she was definitely the bully because she would beat up the slow kids who were scares to death of her. So sad. And I would like to tell you her name: Denise Pearl if anyone wants to bully her and see how she likes it.

+1 yYeah, I had just 1 bully in middle school that would call me "Dirty Kid." I had very messy hair back then, so I guess that made me look dirty? He would also steal my Game Boy games and I would actually cry in front of the class. I was kind of a wreck.
Looking back now, I realize I've always given him every opportunity to pick on me. Dealing with him taught me a hard lesson about what happens when I draw too much attention to myself, which is what I did often. I'm not excusing him for what he did, but bullies like him will ALWAYS exist, and it is because of that trauma that I've become a stronger person. Which is why he was my ONLY bully... because I never allowed another one since.
The only time I ever felt like a bully myself was in Elementary, when I repeatedly pushed around a smaller kid for killing my pet Grasshopper. I would never let it go, and every time I messed with him, he looked so confused. I always feel horrible when I think about it.00 Reply
+1 yI have been a bully & have also been bullied many times in my life.
I was the bully who punched a 4yo boy in my kindgarton & got removed for being violent.
As a victim of being bulied from the age of 7 till 15 was bullied by a skinny yet scary looking guy named Darren, He used to call me Turtle. I was also bullied by a 7th former who used to torment me after school on my way home.
And in my final year of college I was bullied again by a guy who was shorter than me and a bit psycho, well enough was enough of bullying me so I punched him in the back of the head as he walked ahead of me, he dropped and lay on the ground, I walked past him, gave him the bird and walked away, he never sawit coming, but he deserved it.00 Reply

One day he and his relatives, (all the same age range), tried to corner me on a side street. I guess I was about 15. Now keep in mind, my dad was a golden gloves champion in the Merchant Marines, and taught me the basics of self-defense, knowing that I would have to use it one day. After I knocked one of them out, I took on the largest one and didn't stop punching until he was cowering under a car. by the way, it was the following week they all came to me to apologize. We remained fast friends through the years.

Bravo.
+1 yI shouldn't even answer this, but I was a little bitch until about 14. Now it wasn't just my growth spurt that I finally stood up to other guys, shit and girls. It was white hot rage that built up. I grabbed one kid (who had been fuckin with me for awhile) by his graffiti gear jacket and shoved him back down onto his seat. Dude got back up and went down again. Bullied almost no longer. There was another fuckhead that asked to use my pencil and after saying I need it, nigga tried to grab it out of my hand and I poked his other with graphite. And then I got jumped by him and 2 of his homies at my locker. Man I was such a bully :P

+1 ybullied in jr hs and hs by the popular girls, especially the cheerleaders. Even got beat up bad in the showers and left sitting on the floor with a bloody nose, black eye, and cracked ribs... thus started my favorite time in HS becoz the woman's coach befriended me and looked out for me, even outside of PE.

Yeah I got the worse side of a few ass kicking's, but they got their share of bumps of bruises. I would like to tell you that the good guys always win, but the truth is they don't. I refuse to live in fear, or be intimidated and I will fight before I lay down.
So no I am not a victim and I refuse to be one.00 Reply897 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I´ve been bullied most of my school years because I´m tall and thin. I was horrible at sports and many others made fun of it.
It wasn´t completely bad and was mostly reduced on sports activities because I was good at other subjects and helped there.00 Reply26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I was on by this kid that was 17 in the 9th grade. I don't know why he singled me out but he made my life very difficult. I joined a gym and started working out because people used to pick on me. He was gone by the time I got to high school. I assume he dropped out. I have tried to find out what ever happened to him but he has absolutely no trace on the internet. I cannot imagine that his life had turned out so great.

@exitseven maybe he isn't alive anymore. Maybe he bullied the wrong person and it costs him his life. Maybe he's in the military?

+1 yYes. People were always shut down when they started so they moved on to easier targets. It wasn’t until adult bullies moved into the neighborhood who had never been clocked did my biggest experiences start.
00 ReplyI was bullied so much at school. I got chased after, so I ran and hide in the bathroom so they couldn’t hurt me. But then the teachers would punish me for using the bathroom incorrectly (it’s not for hiding in)
00 ReplyI was bullied in grade school in my previous school and now in my current school that I switched because of bullies, I'm the discipline monitor and I bully the bullies because that's my job 😂.
