For those who don't know an ectopic pregnancy is where the egg implants outside of the uterus, a fertilized egg cannot survive outside of the uterus. If left untreated it can be fatal for the woman.
Ectopic pregnancies happen in 1%-2% of all pregnancies and account for 3%-4% of pregnancy related deaths.
I think this anti abortion movement has gone far beyond being pro life.

It proves my point nicely. That those who claim to be pro life are not, as they keep electing people who propose this. Ectopic pregnancies are NEVER viable and will be fatal. So literally they would force women to choose between dying or an illegal unsafe abortion which could kill her or get her 30 years in prison.

Forcing women to have a child she doesn't want is just setting up that child for failure. The parents don't want this child and neither do pro-life people. Nobody is going to give a shit about this kid after it's born. Unwanted children start life at a huge disadvantage. Pro-life people aren't as clever as they think they are. Ectopic pregnancy usually happen in the fallopian tubes, commonly called "tubal pregnancies." This often causes a miscarriage. A classical ectopic pregnancy does not develop into a live birth. If there is not life then there is no need for an abortion. Yes have whatever medical procedure is necessary.
I think Texas' heartbeat bill is a fair compromise. I would support it for every state but not federal law, per Amendment 10 “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

@Agape93 could you read that again, Im confused, everything in the law seems to be directed at out of state medical suppliers who sell to unlicensed people, and out of state pharmacies that sell abortifacient drugs directly to the public. Also around line 29, it refers to it being illegal to perform abortions in vehicles (like vans i assume) or in homes etc. I just couldn’t find anywhere where it specifically states that its illegal for Dr’s licensed in MO to perform abortions in licensed medical clinics. Could you please help me, and tell me what line is that on (I’ll link to the full 3 page law at the bottom, if it allows links). I ask because this is near a very important and “personal” issue to me. Also, I know that my mom nearly died due an ectopic pregnancy. So as I said, its extremely important issue to me. I don't believe in banning abortion same as I don't believe the government should be able to force masks or vaccines on anybody either. I do think messing with someone's health like this gives the government the chance to take control of people's lives in the future with more of this kind of BS and make no mistake Republicans and Democrats are working together to take away everyone's rights in due time.
States can write laws that reflect the will of their constituency. If you are not a constituent then those laws are none of your business. They vote on the laws that affect one another. People that don't agree with the large majority have freedom of movement and can migrate to states that share common goals and values.
If women in that state disagreed with the proposed laws they would eventually leave. If it was a real problem then there would be a shortage of women in the state. With no women there would be no children. Birth rates would suffer and they economy would crumble. That's not the situation though. A lot of women are ant-abortion and if that is what they want then they have freedom to choose that, for themselves. Not every women wants to live the way you do. A lot of them think you're filth. That's why you live in New Zealand where the laws reflect your values and they live in Missouri where the laws reflect their values. Not everyone will agree. Humanity isn't some globalist communist hive mind. There is diversity of thought on what is appropriate for different cultures of people.
A greyhound ticket in the USA between some states can go for an earth shattering $17. I know that's really steep when you're spending $10-25 on a cheap tube of mascara , but if a woman really needed to take a trip to another state to get an abortion or to move to more amiable political surroundings, I'm sure she could figure it out. In the USA only 36% of women want abortion to be legal under any circumstance. They are a minority of the population. In a state like Missouri they would be a much smaller minority of the population. 36% of American women want some sort of legal restrictions that limit abortion and 19% of American women want it to be completely illegal where they live. Missouri is home to only 1.9% of the American population and 77% of them are Christians. I believe women are capable of deciding what they want out of life. They have the right to vote. They have freedom of speech. They have freedom of the press. They have the right to peacefully assemble. They have freedom of religion. They are smarter than you give them credit for. If that is what they want, then they are capable of supporting their cause.
If they object to it, they are capable of making their voice known inside their own sovereign state and affecting local elections outcomes. They are one of the largest voting blocks and can drastically impact elections if policy is going in the wrong direction.
The thing is, the idea is popular with many women. It could even be a draw to the state, acting as a beacon of hope for women who want to raise families under laws that more strongly reflect their political position.

I am a little happier that this country is going back to God here because I am full Christian. If it was up to me, abortions would be banned across the 50 states.
Also this country was founded on freedom of and from religion. It wasn't founded with any particular God in mind.
It's cool if you wanna be a practicing Christian but don't force your religious beliefs on others because one day it may be a religion you don't agree with in the majority and I doubt you'd want them pushing their beliefs on you.
The founding fathers for the US were not Christian which is where I assume you are from considering you said 50 states. They were of all kinds of faiths and specifically mentioned creator not God.
That doesn't mean that it will make it out of committee. In fact, it is more likely to die in committee if that provision isn't removed completely. Missouri is kinda purplely. It wasn't long ago that we had a DNC Governor and Senators; and it probably won't be long before we do again.
And how many of them have a vote on it? Aside from the author of the bill? That is the point of the American government, to prevent not just the tyranny of the minority; but also to prevent the tyranny of the majority. By electing representatives and having a bicameral legislature to slow down the wheels of government and weed out bad legislation.
