Can someone please explain to me how on any level this is okay.
i don’t understand how it is allowed for transgender females (previously male) to compete in female sports as a female.
im not saying this out of judgment. I’m saying this in the sense that I don’t see how it is fair.
the whole reason female and males are separated for sport is because men would win most things. So to enable women to be able to compete and enjoy sports they have female category for women.
Obviously it can range, but in general men are taller, have larger bones, wider necks, bigger shoulders, bigger lung capacities, etc etc. when a person changes their gender a lot of these fundamental things don’t change, and these fundamental things are the exact reason why female and males have separate sporting categories.
it’s not surprise trans gender women pretty much dominant the female competition.
i understand the dilemma. In that trans gender women want to be recognised as a woman.
but isn’t it a little unfair to women who are born into female bodies to have to compete in the female category with someone born in a male body who if they didn’t “want to be a female” would have to compete with other men.
im not trying to be feminist here, and I don’t label myself one. But it’s shit like this that really makes me want to be. its just not okay for this kind of stuff to happen. To not consider how 50 percent of real women would feel about issues like this. Because society is too scared to piss off 0.01 percent of the population
