I'm a national conservative. Promoting strong borders and excellent marksmanship to protect what is ours and what must stay ours. Promoting conception and families to produce more citizens with a strong moral compass to create strong numbers to support strong militias and military personnel in time of an invasion or impending threat. People who want to come here should be either very good tradesmen, already wealthy, or well educated in a field we need new hands and minds in, or join an auxiliary for a period of 8 years without a right to vote for a period of 8 years and no ability for welfare benefits unless they have seen active combat and distinguished themselves heroicly or were injured in combat. No free export of our goods to anyone who is not an active military ally. All others have to pay for everything. Sorry bout your poor and homeless in Country X but country Y is actively aiding us against Chinese and Russian assets. Also our resources care for us. All people of this nation are Americans no matter their skin color or their gender. Our resources are for them. Our resources not in active use can be stockpiled for emergencies rather than shipped to suffering from their own self induced problems like in Haiti for example. We conserve our traditions which made us great. Our values, our ambitions, our aspirations, our message to the world.

I don’t use the common definitions. I think of conservatism as a tendency toward order and liberalism as a tendency toward openness. Liberalism tends to move in the direction of disorder. Because this is entropic, it requires cultural energy and vigor to maintain conservatism. Thought of in this way, both can be good or bad. Ideally, they balance each other, but practically speaking the relative strength of conservatism and liberalism depends much on the stage of a culture’s lifecycle.

I am Swedish, we dont really have those American ideologies over here. Its more an American thing to reduce everything down to a two party system and bastardize the actual political philosophy behind it.

Basically adam smith defines economic liberalism.
Burk defines conservatism.
Progressivism is a bit harder, you can go the mill's path, maybe a marx's parth, but I personally go a bit backwards and define it with the "march of history"/"end of history" worldview.
Socialism is easy, it's the "social control of the means of production through state proxy".

Left I define by the jaccobins, and right by the girondins.

You just prove that Liberals can't be Christian. Abortion is taking a life and bible says , Thou shalt not kill.

Constitution has made freedom possible in this country and protected the rights of people. It is the only reason why we don;t have a dictator and free elections.

You dump the constitution and you will have a dictator for life like Putin. Now mind you if it was Trump that would be a good thing.

I consider myself a fiscal conservative. The government should cut spending and try to become smaller through attrition. We do not need a lot of these useless programs.
