What do you think the future of drones looks like?

Drones are going to change with the next Gen aircraft.

there is currently technology called Swarm.

Linked to this is improvements to interfacing with Drones and what they can do.

part of this will be the greater use of Lightweight Affordable Novel Combat Aircraft (LANCA). These are aircraft built without a pilot and support systems needed, no ejection system, no oxygen, no stick or cockpit controls. this means far greater manoeuvrability, range, payload. With LANCA groups controlled by a single or flight of manned aircraft.

these ‘drones’ would be semi autonomous with sensor updates and target updates but full weapons or mission load out.

eventually a lot of this tech will feed back into civilian life with great interface control for civilian use of drones, greater semi autonomy.

I think they will be robotic/human like AI and fly line Superman. Basically, Transformer soldier under governmental contract…Remote controlled sorta like the video games…. Black Angels rather than Blue Angels….
