Nobody speaks for all black people, not even black people. If you're white, grew up in a black neighborhood, MAYBE, not definetely, the people from your neighborhood are cool with you saying it. Doesn't mean all black people are cool with it. Even being a white boy from the hood you don't got life as hard as a black man. Black people don't like white people saying it because black people "earned their wings". The word was owned after it was used to cause trauma and oppress.

I remember thinking back then when I heard the N word how archaic and unfamiliar sounding the word was. It was a dead word from the past. It sounded odd to the ear as it hadn’t been uttered in music, film or daily interactions in my life. It was dead and buried and then revived. We also didn’t have the extreme division of today which seems to be manufactured by the politicians their excellent strategists. The word is old (archaic). It should have stayed buried. But then again the divisions then vs now are very deep. Those divisions are on purpose and not for anyones benefit but the elite. It was a ploy the whole country fell for but here we are and it won’t change.
