Do girl children influence the boys in American households?

Normally if you have two boys or three, the dad has control. (O er the kids to help Mon ) but daughters like to challenge the dad. And Mother would encourage her daughter by laughing.
My question is do daughters Influence sons to defy father's parental control? Examples from YouTube
" Adorable Daddy daughter argument" daughter scolds dad in store"
Would this lead to sons also disrespecting the dad because he sees his sister doing it and it's " okay"

Well, I guess this so-called father isn't the father I grew up with. No daughter of his would scold him in a store, just like his two sons couldn't. Nor would my mother laugh at their daughter doing it. He didn't take any shit from adults, why should he from children? Then again, not every guy by 22 years old had served two tours in Vietnam, with the space between the two tours to get married.

I'm not half the man my father is. Funny thing is, when my dad's father/my grandfather died, my father said that he wasn't half the man his father was, which makes me like a quarter of my grandfather.

When it comes to which one influences the other, just depends on who the older sibling is. The older sibling will generally be the influencer. As for getting disciplined, boys tend to get punished more often and more harshly than girls for the same behavior.

i can't say for sure since i'm an only child, but from what i've seen different genders get punished differently, each bad in their own way.
