How are girl-boy relationships in America?

I'm thinking of living in America, but I'm curious about marriage, relationships, etc. because I'm thinking of coming there through marriage. But what kind of wives are they? Do men treat their wives well? I don't know if it will let me down. What do you think?

America has a wide range of peoples and cultures, so it can be difficult to give a universal answer. In modern America, it's common for both to have full-time jobs. So being a housewife is a lot less common now than it used to be, and is typically only found with more financially well-off families. Women continue to be primary care-givers for children, though it is slowly becoming more common for fathers to take a more active role with the kids.

As for how a wife is treated, that's really an individual thing. It may also be worth noting that divorce is easier and more common in America than other nations, to my understanding. And it's more likely to be the wife that files for divorce.

If I may offer advice, I'd recommend being a little more firm in a relationship in America than you may be at home. America promotes and encourages individualism, which isn't always great when you're in a committed relationship. You'll need to be able to reign your partner in from time to time.
