170 boy and 174 girls relationship?

I'm 174 and the person I like is 170. normally no one would care if it was the other way around. do you think this is weird?

Does it matter what others think, if the two of you are comfortable with the difference? Relationships are based on what works for the couple, not how they fit into societal expectations and ideals. Take the time to find out his true feelings (not just curiosity about something being different, but how it might impact him long-term). Some people enjoy being an oddity, and others don't care about anything other than how they mesh together. When I was in college, there was a guy who was more than 2' taller than his girlfriend. He used to walk around with his hand on top of her head. Whatever works for you is no one else's business but yours. Just make sure you are respectful of your boyfriend's feelings in all you do.

yes, but as in the example you gave, when the man is taller, people don't find it that weird. but it's weird when women are tall. height difference doesn't matter to me

Anything that's out of the ordinary can be seen as weird, yet what's out of the ordinary in one situation might be ordinary in another. For instance, let's say an American and a European are discussing television shows. The American asks, "How can you watch so much nudity on your television?" The European responds with, "How can you watch so much violence on your television?" Whatever is familiar becomes acceptable. Will a cannibal want to hear you tell him that eating people is wrong? If height doesn't matter to you and it doesn't matter to the guy, who cares what others say. I'm sure many people made comments about the 7 footer walking around campus with his hand on the head of the 5 footer. It's your life. Be true to what makes sense to you... not what others prefer. Can you believe that some people like eating raw fish or see snails or fish eggs as a delicacy? Since the majority of the people on this earth are female, so are probably attracted to males, would you want a guy you find attractive to also be attracted to males?

4 cm isn’t really that big of a deal. My cousin and my brother (around 174-175cm) both date girls taller than them and no one really bats an eye
