If you ran a dystopian society, what would it be like?

how many people are left in this dystopian vision? i mean if its all 8 billion of us still i couldnt see anything working but with far less humans populating the land i would go for small independant communities living in peace and being responsible for their own governance away from centralised powers

People who ruined other lives would get executed. People who tried to ruin someone else's life but failed would get executed. I hate the fact that there are criminals who tortured and killed people and will be out in 15-20 years from now. They took someone's life away and should be given the same.
Or They'd have 20 to do it themselves, and if they don't my special forces will be waiting once they get out.

Hm, it would be a society with zero tolerance policies where everyone would get chipped as a newborn and the entirety of their life would be monitored and violators would get punished by immediate vaporization.

It would be an utopia in my mind, but I'm sure some of the undesirables would call it dystopia.

Oh if I ran a dystopian society. It would be all about me, keep me happy and I will be benevolent, otherwise off with their heads.

Have you ever played the card game Mao? Kind of like that. An arbitrary set of rules that you don't get to know that you can be punished for.

If I wanted to bring about a dystopian future, I'd imagine that I would make it a lot like how covid measures worked but cranked up to an 11.
