Is it surprising that both conservatives and woke liberals are now united in defense of the US/West global power?

They both say they don't want Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa to lead a new world order. Their reasoning for doing so is very problematic.

It's almost like this "right vs left," "conservative vs liberal" political division is pointless and just a theater to keep people distracted from what really matters.

Ironically, those who identify deeply with being international and uniting globally, abhor that other countries just simply do not think or have the same values as them.
