    Yes.

When I was 11-12, I was raised as a Christian and I thought homosexuality was wrong.

The more I thought about it I found out there’s nothing wrong in people choosing who they want to be with and it’s none of my business as long as they are happy.

So I started being more accepting to people as I got older like 14-15 and in the end, I beat my religion induced homophobia along with the fanaticism and I am agnostic today.

I also found out even today, lots of gay men or women have to start straight families because of the pressure from the society, they try to suppress their sexual orientation and they spend their whole lives unhappy, being with someone they aren’t attracted to.

    That’s a tragedy.

If we, other members of society can be more understanding and accepting to them, it will not only be good for them but to us as well.

Everyone has a right to be happy, to love and to be loved.

How does it matter if a guy loves a girl or a girl loves a girl or guy loves a guy or so on. As long as they love, they make each other happy, what’s wrong with this?

I also read a lot about human behavior, evolution, biology and so on, it’s my hobby.

I believe everything happens for a reason and we are born the way we are or made the way we are because we play our part in the universe. We create the natural balance, all of us together, whether gay or straight.

However, I still to this day, have some confusion about transgender people, who are born as a man or a woman and then they feel uncomfortable in their body and feel like they belong to something else.

I feel like femininity doesn’t always mean you are a woman, as for me I can be quite masculine sometimes but I don’t feel like I need to attach a penis. It’s just my personality. Nothing wrong to be a woman who can be masculine and nothing wrong to be a man who can be feminine.

I look at this topic from the point of evolution and I have some questions about it, because whether we like or not, in the end our body’s main goal is to reproduce, so I find it weird (in terms of biology and evolution) why would anyone want to remove his reproductive organ and change it into something else.

I am open to be told if I am wrong and If I hurt anyone with my words, I don’t usually talk about this and always stand for the people in minorities, just sharing my thoughts without filter now, cause I am anonymous and I feel like I am talking to myself.

In the end, I do believe everyone should live a life they feel happy living, LGBTQ + people just like me and you - want to be happy, and we should support them to feel happy, accepted and free, without judging the ways they’re trying to pursue it.

Is it a choice to be cruel or demeaning to someone because they're not like you are or the way that you think people should be?

I'm trying to imagine what else it could be. People have to invent their justification for that, so, yeah, it's an act of will, not like a spontaneous allergic reaction.

It doesn't seem so well named, though. Like, if you try to imagine being hetero-phobic, what is that? Hating straight people? Seems like that would take an incredible amount of energy, as well as time, just to vent about something that's not even actually a problem. Again, a choice.

Actual phobias aren't a choice. They result from experiences and are deeply embedded in our psyches. They are emotions and emotions bypass rationality. The experiences can even be the picking up of a phobia from someone else during childhood. It's why a lot of people are afraid of snakes. I knew a girl who was deathly afraid of cats because her mom was.

Mere dislike isn't the same as a phobia. A person can be disgusted without being afraid., although dislike or disgust sometimes has a deep seeded fear component.

A person can usually get over dislike or fear by learning about the thing they fear or dislike. Take racial bigotry or so-called xenophobia. That applies to disgust with homosexuality. The more you know about something, the less mystery, misunderstanding and distrust. With education, one can come to appreciate something they once did not, such as animals or other cultures.

The way humans are evolved now? Yes.
If we go back not so much. Since Tribalism is part of our nature which leads to tribal thinking of your not the same as us let's get rid of you.
Because when in a primitive tribe you have to keep in line with what the tribe does. And as you can imagine tribes back then weren't really full of gay people nor that of other races. And other tribes would kill each other just based on them not been the same tribe.
Of course now we are much more progressive so we don't think as tribal no more. But it still persists somewhere, as one could see with sports like football.
But now it's much easier to make a choice upon what your tribal thoughts will be because we have advanced.

No, and it's a misnomer. It's as natural to be repulsed (not afraid) or homosexual behavior, just as it is to be disgusted by the smell of spoiled food or human waste. These are instincts that allows the human race to continue. Want proof? With all the ultra pro gay media, even in 2022 rarely are two men shown on TV kissing even after literally decades of trying to push LGBT acceptance. You know why? Even the most ardent LGBT rights people with the most influence know it's too repulsive and it will turn the populace against accepting this new way of thinking that they are trying so very badly to shove down are throats. People would stop and think and "wake up".

Yes, it is. We can get over our 8nitial reaction to people or situations. Medical personnel get over their revulsion of trauma so they can treat the injured.

No. It can't be controlled if one is disgusted by a lifestyle choice that openly goes against God.
