My biggest mistake was not buying a property when younger and laddering up. I recently made over £50k in 2 years on my house, could have been far better off if I'd managed buying and selling properties properly. Wasn't in right head space though
If you base it on purely financial reasoning then yes it is. Having kids is very expensive and even under the best conditions the rate of return will be dismal.
Like anything else in life there are other things to take into account. I had my kids here for Easter and it was awesome to see them doing so well on their own. They have turned out well and it really makes me happy. That is worth a lot to me.

False. Getting married is the worst financial decision a man can make. Taking out student loans is the worst financial decision a woman can make and it is the second worst financial decision a man can make.
It depends on the country and your own situation.
In some countries it's a economic benefit to have children, or it might be for certain income brackets etc.
