Had tongoogle globalism lol. Globalism is a pipe dream, it would never work with out major world wars and one countries opinion completely dominating all others. We could never compromise enough to make it work.

Religion alone makes it impossible, religions will never co exist, they all think they know and fallow the one true way and all other believes are wrong. Got ignorant people who think any Muslim church or place were middleeast people gather is a bomb factory.
He'll even in just the USA we'll never all agree on policy, got stupid fucking over privileged pro lifers that protest abortion clinics, their idea of a "compromise" is to give women 30 days to get an abortion, so basiclly if you wait till your period is late you are already fucked, yes we have states that backwater, and other states still going that way.

What about England and their queen and royal family? That will never be globaly loved, I will never hail a king or queen.

And outsourcing production of products and goods will probably never work, greedy corporations in American sending manufacturing jobs to anywhere except here in America is fucking up America, we are loosing a lot of jobs, cause everything is made cheaply in cheap places like China or tiawan. So we would need like global socialism so places like America get paid to do nothing while China make all consumer products.
Country's would have to give up their right to not make whatever they currently make. Like right now there is a ammo shortage in USA cause dumb ass Biden stopped goods from coming from russia.

If we all have to agree things are good or bad that means either the whole world has to give up eating cows or we'd have to force India to eat their sacred animal.
The legal age of consent is different all over, drinking ages are different all over, drug laws are different all over.
It's a nice thought but I don't think globalism is possible.

Oh and fyi, I'm never giving up the imperial system, sure maybe with practice the metric system could be more streamline but I'm not gonna.

Trump was actually a true President to his country, where as Biden is a globalist, wants to have power over the entire world not just his country. Just look at the power over the media, brainwashing everyone into believing what usa wants the world to believe and anything that questions it or thinks differently is silenced, deemed as fake, and or manipulated by OTHER "FAKE" news. Talk so much shit about "dictators" when usa wants to have world domination. IT sees russia as a threat simply for it's grandeur. It felt threatened when it was ginormous ussr. apparently it still feels threatened because usa went and placed bombs all surrounding russia but cried out loud during the missile crisis in Cuba. If usa would not tolerate on tiny spec to have a bomb there near usa, why does it thin it's okay to have five million all surrounding russia? Ridiculous and hypocritical mentality. as if that were not enough it falsely gave ukrine wings making it think that usa really wanted to help them while flashing Benjamins and they went bonkers for usa allowing it to install russian hate since 2014, all these little kids learning to hate russians and kicking the russian flags for all these years, these kids are now old, raise on hate, and justify all the bombings and innocent people dying in their own country killed by their own people, because they speak russian, and that's yucky to them as they clearly say in the footage of so many years ago, to them it's a dogs bark. and they see nothing wrong with killing an innocent child simply for being russian.

Now you have putin invading the land for the purpose of stopping these killings but they scream help it's not true, while usa helps them spread this lie that it's not true, but yet still leaves them there to die. Usa never planed to help these dying people. it's main purpose was to poke russia to make it do what it is doing to create world hate against russia since usa always feels intimidated and treated by russia simply for it's grandeur. As usa has. a lot of power and money but that is not enough.. they want GLOBAL power and Russia is a big bear that will not be controlled by usa and usa is a stubborn dangerous child with power so it does what it can while claiming to be the angel that everyone runs to for help.

USA is a sick manipulative brainwashing country and the reason it can get away with it is because we give it the power it has because we are naive and easily fooled.. we watch the news and eat all the bs they feed us. Anyone who goes against it is brainwashed and has no access to "REAL" news we are told.

We are both lucky to live in this country and ashamed to live in such country that doesn't give a shit about innocent lives being killed for the purpose of more power and more money as long as we point the finger at someone else to blame.. more to our convenience russia at that. blame russia. they are the bad guys because we say so. don't search for proof anything you find is fake, only what we say is true because we say so not because we actually have proof, we will just throw you some dead people footage to make you feel sad and then point the finger to where the aggressor is and say they did it!!! without stating the real reasons why this all happened of course, just saying putin wants to kill to get ussr back and all need to hate him don't search anything else because all of our media will only tell you that this is correct and anything else is propaganda.

We also kill and bomb a lot of innocent people almost daily but we are good people and our bombs only kill bad guys, all innocent people killed by our bombs are mistakes and don't deserve any reporting nor do they deserve any help pages because they are accidents that don't matter. Thats world domination.

We have so many veteran homeless people but yet here we are sending millions of dollars to ukraine for weapons to do more killings. we won't help them but we send money to pretend we are doing our "part", while our people here are poor without homes, we caused a war somewhere else and sending those people money while also spending another million on help pages for them.

I hope one day people realize usa doesn't give a shit about innocent people dying as long as it gains power and money and not necessarily to help the people in our country no, it's for them! the top notch guys only, to keep ruling the world not the country. Anyone who speaks against it is silenced. You can't beat the big dog.

I live here but I am ashamed to be an American for the first time.
Russia should nuke us and I bet most wars would mostly cease to exist. USA is God of wars. 🤢

      R. I. P. To all those innocent people who had to die for this sick ridiculous war that could have been avoided but was pushed to happen for the purpose of world hate against russia and more power and money for usa, while some die the others remaining struggle to get by.

Countries will always need to trade with others. Economically you can’t progress or succeed on your own.

In general terms, I agree. There's resources we'll always need to trade on a global level.

However, that isn't to say we can't walk back from hyper globalization. Look at what happened with supply lines during COVID - globalization does have weaknesses.

Personally, I'd love it if my country would look to expand what industries and production we can within our own borders. Y'know, make sure we have enough balanced, renewable agriculture; refine our own raw resources; bring back manufacturing jobs and so forth.

Not sure about who you're talking about.. it depends on what circle you hang in.

Globalism has ups- and downsides, ofc.
Upsides are that industries can and are allowed to compete on world-standards by trading globaly. Which brings jobs and economic growth to countries where they work.
It also mean we have accsess to cheaper resources and products.

The downsides are when it's easier for industries to exploit cheap labour and ignore horrible working conditions in under-developed countries where resources are extracted or where labour is supercheap.
Another downside is when for example when the EU set policies that say a country must import a set %amount of soecified resource to benefit the trading union.
I think if a country can be self-sufficient in let say wheat-production then thet should be encouraged to be that.
Trading is good but we need to not be too reliant otherwise we'll grow ignorant to the necessities of the conditions for our countries to be truly prosperous.

Yeah I can agree with some of that, globalism exists because it's possible. The conditions for globalism is set due to our current technology and openess to trade.

But that is not to say that it's a perfect system. And while complaining might not change anything it might bring attention to a larger concern in the end.
A good balance should always be the goal, as with all things. Globalism evolves all the time, it doesn't have to be globalism or anarchy.. no point taking it to the extremes.

we are seeing right now what happens because of globalism. we are now dependend on ultra low wage countries to produce the products that we need.

i mean america still is the largest in gdp countgry globally. but look at the sectors in which most money is made in america. finance products and real estate. nothing of value is created there. pretty much everything that they consume is produced else where. and how much it hurts when suddenly one of the low wage countries stops delivering goods is visible in the recent massive electrical micro-chip shortage caused by china not delivering chips.

and this is just one branche that massively increased prices of loads of products like computers, cars, phones and many more. imagine that happening in multiple branches at once. we'd be utterly fucked.

so from a national point of view, you shouldn't want globalism, cause it drives you into a dangerous dependency. and on a global point of view, this shit creates and sustains exploitation in other countries. for example sweat shops in china or child labour in africa. people having to work for less than they need to survive.

so really the only profiteurs of globalism are corporations. and even they struggle massively if global supply chains suddenly collapse, as we saw with china and ukraine.

Because we want to make sure our own population is taken care of rather than the population of the entire world. We could manufacture everything in the United States we are so lightly larger than China. Yet because of minimum wage laws and Americans like in G product we can’t to do it here if it ever came to a pandemic like we just had an supply chain crisis like we’re experiencing due to the pandemic in China and Joe Biden and many other reasons we would like to be able to reduce things ourselves without relying on other countries are created a good thing by being able to be self-reliant is also a good night so I had an import useless shit like tea or Coffee or chocolate we all like those things but they’re not important if you steal clothing basic things that we need to survive should be to be produced In our own country

    They aren't.

They just don't fucking understand what it is and that it's always been around. Empires and civilisations from the outset have always been into globalism.

Rather, it's just populism and nationalism that is making people believe globalism is the problem. I personally blame the USA for breeding such ignorance and hence why it needs to be broken up like the Soviet Union was.

There is a difference between globalization (enhanced trade, mobility, and communication because of technology) and globalism (world government as conceived by and for Western managerial elites). There are many reasons why people are against globalism. Many non-Western nations are against it because they view it as a way for Western elites to force their will upon the whole world. There are many reasons why people in the West might dislike it: the liquidation of Western cultures into homogenized consumerism with mass immigration, inherent instability in job markets because of outsourcing, the expectation of employee mobility that destabilizes any ability to form genuine community, the absolute gutting of American industrial and rural areas, the monetary system that inherently centralizes wealth into the hands of the elite, and being indirectly ruled over by unelected dystopian freaks and misfits like Klaus Schwab.

I'm writing an action series that largely is about this exact thing.

I don't think people are necessarily against globalism, I think their against the idea of if they don't like the ideals of whoever is running it, they're not going to have anywhere to go. It could also end up being unsafe as the whole world could go corrupt in a way where one person is in charge with a setup like globalism.

But war is becoming impractical. So we need to either get along or end up with globalism, most likely under a totalitarian regime.

People against globalization are those who lose from it if placed in situations to compete globally. Generally they are the poor and the poorly educated as their jobs are easily substituted and therefore they easily lose any chance of earning if placed in global competition.

Since the 1980s, for example, the living conditions of the poorly educated in the US have collapsed, due to having exported their own manufacturing and desyndicalized the remaining one. Some American crises such as the subprime crisis are the result of this deindustrialization due to globalization.

Among other things, in the US the thing is strongly paradoxical, since the same party that created this situation and therefore should take its own responsibilities, now exploits this situation by blaming the party that has no faults.

For the same reason buggy-whip manufacturers hated cars?

To be fair, I can see hating to see my job (sometimes the whole factory) shipped off to a country that pays its workers far less. Those international agreements never required anything like a unionised workforce or a minimum wage. Then there's real danger when integrating dictatorships like China and Russia, normalising trade relations with countries that don't have any checks on the leaders' power.

I guess the idea was to encourage them to join in with democracy, but it seems to be backfiring.

Uhhh America first? We can grow our own damned avocados, there's enough farmland in the US to feed the entire planet but, we've systematically outsourced these jobs to other parts of the world in exchange for the average HS graduate to want to become a Youtuber instead of say a plumber, farmer, doctor etc. People bitch about low wages when OUTSOURCING our manufacturing is WHY our wages are low. The true cost of a cheap iPhone is that you can't afford a house and start a family until you're 35. All of our drugs come from China, all of our chips come from Taiwan if they wanted to decimate our healthcare industry as well as our farming and trucking they could just cut us off. Look at these clowns in Washington trying to scramble to open semiconductor and chip manufacturing to the US www.techtarget.com/.../CHIPS-Act-moves-the-needle-on-US-chip-manufacturing

I see it as inevitable and not something I can see much good in being against. We end up harming far more consumers to protect a few domestic businesses with tariffs, e. g.

It's an ugly thing to be outcompeted by countries developing products and services on a completely different playing field, but at the same time, I don't see consumers happily paying double or triple the cost for, say, a car or a phone. If they were, imported goods and services wouldn't have a competitive advantage in the first place of being cheaper.

It’s a strange phenomenon taking place. I’m a registered Republican and the blind opposition towards globalization is making me want to become an independent. Economies generally run more efficiently when we distribute production across the world. It’s described as the division of labor. Some countries are able to scale and produce a good more effectively. If that’s the case, it benefits them and us to purchase that good from them. The issue arises when we become entirely to concentrated in one country. China is a good example. Generally, globalization is a good thing for an economy.

This is because authoritarians can not hold on to power if global networks of cooperation decide to keep them isolated.

Globalism causes cheap labor to be exploited, outsources jobs, encourages out of control migration especially poor and desperate people which in turn causes a lost of pride and cultural endangerment of one's country with a huge influx of migrants with different values and culture norms which causes conflict.

    Screw globalism. 😡

Because globalism only serves to gut the middle class. All the factories are closed because people in other countries are willing to do the same job for pennies. It is more like slavery and only a select few get rich.

It's not wo much the idea of a global community, if the "globalists" were trying to make a world wide society based in personal freedom and garunteed rights im all on board. Unfortunately what these people are trying to turn the world into is China where you have a social credit system and the government can harvest your organs for having wrong think.

    The alternative is:
    - selective globalism; which is avoiding the worst trading partners
    and
    - less consumerism; much of the shit that's traded is not necessary at all

Instead of interference from above, I chose to do my own things, and for myself. I recently had a business proposal from China - and I told them to bugger off. I do not ever enter a KFC or McDonalds shop. I don't keep money on my bank account. Stuff like that.

No, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. When you integrate all nations together, you lose those nations for one global one. Having nations is mutually exclusive to a one world government, the third category is arguably anarchy, but that’s all the options there are. If you’re not a globalist or an anarchist then you must necessarily be a nationist. These are the options a person has.

Did the UN stop America from invading Iraq? Do the UN's laws matter at all when it really counts? If an organization cannot enforce its own edicts then I do not recognize that organization as valid for they do not have the might to enforce their supposed authority.

I don't approve of global organizations either, such as the European Union. We all saw what a disaster they had with article 14.

GOP are globalists when it fits their agenda. Exempli gratia: Israel.

But my point is you’re making hay out of talks at a forum. Which is similar to me making hay out of BS at CPAC.

I don’t see nationalism as opposite of globalism. I see autarky as it’s opposite.

Yea but globalists dont usually build border walls.

      Schwab praised the Canadian pm.
The same pm that praised chinese dictatorial regime. Do you see why i oppose this

Schwab is one cat short of a Bond supervillain and the others spouting their Silicone Valley eternal life crap is basically lifted from the pages of Revelations and disturbs me on the most primal of levels.

@DarkWinterNights yea. He already has the evil german accent.

Fun fact. In my language, Schwab is a derogatory word for german😂

No actually. He was for autarky. If he were a globalist he’d want to trade with Russia. Not conquer it.

Your one World govt myth isn’t the definition.

How else can you define realistic globalism? The realities of human behavior require conquering and subjugation to effect a "world government".

I know some of the worst people in history (i. e. Clinton's, Soros) are ardent globalists.

What makes them “the worst people in history”?

They’re not my favorites. But I can certainly think of much much worse.
