Home owner ship Vs renting?

Should someone buy a house or rent? I like doing work so I would buy my own house because I can do things to it. Make it better etc...
I did rent a place and it kinda sucked because every time I had to pay rent it felt like I was giving it away.

It’s all about budget. Houses are great investments, and is better than giving money to landlords.

But there’s additional costs to home ownership. Electricity is generally more each month. There’s home insurance. Even just going through the mortgage process requires paying for inspections, etc. Just look up tips and make sure you have some cash and good credit. Getting prequall’ed is pretty easy.

If you can, ownership is the way to go. That rent money isn't going to anything but the landlords pocket. Instead, buy property and rent it out yourself. If its a condo do it downtown. Someone will throw money at you. If its a smaller town, you should be able to find decent pricing. If you live in Florida, I'd look at USDA loans in rural areas. Some of these areas are super comfy. Unless you need a nightlife, then uhh.. nevermind what I said lol

Depends on the person and what it is they're looking for.
If they're planning on settling down then sure, it'd be great to own.
If you move a lot and don't know where you want to live, then renting is great.

Ownership! Your "rent money" goes into something you own and can sell to get that money back.
