Is anything real? All reality TV is fake! Most news is not the truth! Reviews on sites such as Amazon are mostly fake! Our government no longer represents the people, instead lies! Fake email and text! The list goes on and on! Is anything real?

There are sources I generally trust: NPR, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Economist, The Atlantic, Harper's, and other magazines. They generally tell a story that is consistent with other news sources and my general knowledge. They clearly separate news from editorial comment.

I wonder these same things. It's like I woke up one day and the world as I thought iI knew it didn't exist - maybe it never existed. My family and friends are real. I try to surround myself with them more so these days and tune out the rest.

Same here! I grew up in a time when honesty and loyalty were EVERYTHING! Hell, even marriage and all its significant means nothing today!
