Both I run a poker tournament at the bar and play, and get paid to do it and my buy in is paid for some if I’m in the money and get high hand of the night I come out with almost 400$ I run it twice a week. If I’m not in the money I get about 100 it’s a small 25$ buy in tournament

Yes it is we have our gambling license the bar keeps none of it, there are some rules we have to fallow like keep records of who bought in. date, place time and whom came in first Second third I am at four paying 4 places and 5 for the rare times we have it, beyond that it’s a good way for them to get revenue and loose 25 a night because my buy in is paid for but that’s barely anything because the players buy food and drinks so paying for me to play and run it is nothing but still all legal. (Except for maybe my taxes I just started running and so not sure how that works at least yet)
