Defund the police and military (restrict military contractor budget by a ton), and put that money into actual education. None of this racist, homophobic bullshit Florida is pulling, either.

Critical thinking, non-whitewashed world history, accurate and unflinchingly honest American history, leadership, communication, and life skill classes.

Teach kids how to spot, understand, and debunk misinformation. Teach them about the actual politics of America, what politics looks like on a global stage, and allow them to research socialism and communism without the "Commie Scum" propaganda of the long-dead Cold War.

Protect minorities, LGBTQ , and women. Reinstate Roe vs Wade, fund unions, and make it illegal and punishable by dissolution for corporations to union bust.

Remove corporate money from politics, overhaul agribusiness so Monsanto doesn't force monocropping two fucking things, and transition to green energy.

Make the separation of church and state a thing again, and follow the Satanic Temple's example of religious equality and respect.

All of these are interwoven with what the right values.

It's a monumental task that I believe requires nothing short of a working class revolution. American oligarchs won't let it happen easily - a genuinely leftist population (or even a "for the people" population) means they lose their source of exploitation.
