Have you ever had a teacher/professor who grade you poorly because they didn't like your opinion to what you wrote?

In college, we EEs were required to take a thermodynamics course as part of the electrical engineering curriculum. The course was taught by a mechanical engineering professor who made no qualms about disliking EEs. He particularly disliked me because I solved his problems on tests using electrical engineering methods, not the mechanical engineering methods he taught, even though I usually got the right answer. He gave me a D in the course (the only grade I got in college that wasn't A or B) and told me he didn't give me a failing grade because he didn't want to see me in his class again.

I had a teacher that didn't like me in college years ago and she graded me worse than my partner when we turned in an assignment together. Same paper, but I got a worse grade, and that was after she intentionally "lost" the paper that I had placed in the middle of the pile of student papers just so it couldn't get lost accidentally.

I saw the principal numerous times. He was on my side :)

However - I remember when I once ''proved'' in a math test that 12 equals 8.
This was my opinion (running out of time).

The opposite actually. I had to write a lot of "convincing" essays for my history degree. My teachers liked when I argued for a position they disagreed with. It made the paper more interesting because they got to see an argument for a position they didn't agree with.

I got suspended from school for 3 days. I had written an erotic story about my Language Arts teacher, and the Shop teacher having sex together.

I had a professor that used to get mad when I would write insulting things about President Obama. He gave me an A however.

No I never felt I had a teacher that in any way was bias against or for me for any reason.

I don’t think that ever matters. It’s all about rules and structure. Writing papers how they want you to, and then when they scan through them, it looks good or not.
