Did you mess with teachers?

I used to be quite a handful with teachers. My closed off behavior left school super boring, so I had to compensate.

More so in middle school, I wrote on the board in band class a lot in the morning before class, sometimes he'd get mad, sometimes he didn't.

When he started just erasing the whole words when I started erasing letters to change what it said on the board.

Like where it said "low brass", I'm sure you can guess which two letters I erased. He then erased the 3 letter word I'd created, so now it just said "low".

He hoped this tactic of depriving me of bad words to create, I'd stop. One night on a concert, I reiterated I wouldn't stop by rewriting the 3 letter word I created😂

The next day, he'd erased both words, he glared but try as he might, he never did very well, hiding the smile tugging at his lips when I did this.

I see now how inconsiderate and immature this all was and how it's really not funny to mess with teachers and make their already stress filled day more stressful by dealing with people who don't act their age.

This case though, it still makes me laugh cause it was the moment he realized I'd always find a way to act ridiculous 😂

I remember in junior high school it was against the rules to chew gum in class. But I did it anyway. I chewed bubble gum and would make a cracking sound while chewing it.

One day my teacher said "You can't chew gum in class unless you have some for everyone"!!

Back then we had candy and gum that only costs a penny. So I bought 30 pieces of penny bubble gum and passed it out to everyone in her class the next day.

I guess ya gotta watch what you say because it just might happen.

I liked the story. In third grade the teacher said that she had to leave the room and we were to sit in out seats and do classwork. The classroom was next to the principals offfice. I got up and went to the blackboard and was drawing pictures on it. Suddenly I felt this big hand on my shoulder. I looked up and it was the principal. He dragged me into his office and I sat in a chair in front of his desk. He pulled out an 18 inch ruler out of his desk. It had a big brass strip that ran the while length of it to give it some added heft. He told me to stick out my hand. He gave me ten or twelve good whacks. It hurt but I was determined not to cry. However, little tears was running down my cheeks when he finished.

I think that rat tans were outlawed after that.

but one of them messed with my best friend

and she got mad, others got mad because the teachers also messed with many other... everyone was fed-up and wanting to do something about it

so... I just started whispering on the ears of a few selected students... the smartest ones, and the most extrovert in the whole school and I might have suggested staging a WalkOut of classes in the middle of the day and then walking out of school too... to the streets, there was a police station at the end of the street so of course they were like FTW

the funniest thing to me was that... my friend, she was kind of mad at me, that I didn't join the walk-out and I said "nah, I don't care" when I was the one who planted that seed, lmfao

I messed with teachers in more artsy ways. I’d redraw them as anime characters on the board or turn homework titles into dramatic movie posters. A few rolled their eyes, but some kept my doodles up all week 😅

That story was lame.

I went to a Catholic elementary school. In 7th grade, we had a nun teacher that no one liked. One day, one of the girls organized a prank on her. At precisely 9am, everyone in the class bent down to tie their shoes, effectively disappearing from view. When she turned around from writing on the blackboard and saw no one, she went ballistic.
