It is beginning to seem like the GOP and its loyal voters just plain dont want democracy. And so maybe they shouldn't be burdened with one. A national divorce might be expensive but I don't see any other way. We're never going to see eye to eye with people who build their self worth around intentionally avoiding eye contact. That's just a fact. It will lead to disaster and probably a humanitarian crisis later but giving them their own territory to lie to each other in really does seem like the only viable solution.
