We are not even halfway through the term and Biden has already turned the best economy into the worst. The highest inflation in 40 year, record fuel prices, low GNP numbers. Even though hey say unemployment is low and there are plenty of jobs, most of these jobs are in fast food and retail and there are plenty of people who have been out of work for so long their benefit have run out and they are no longer counted.
We just had our highest gas prices ever.
"Gas prices were high in 2008 but never like this."
Exactly. But crude oil prices were at $100 a barrel from 2009 to 2014, and even peaked at $185 in June 2008 (currently, it's $105). Did it suddenly get much more expensive to process, or are the oil companies simply using it as an excuse to raise their prices?

It turns out there's a loophole in Dodd-Frank.

"“Look at footnote 563. You should insert the following in your swaps contracts, classify these trades of credit default swaps as ‘foreign.'” As a result, no one knows how much risk they’ve taken on and whether or not they can cover the potential losses."
From those, GW, because he came into office with a government surplus and left in a massive recession. Of course, Trump's economics exploded the deficit, even before his stupidity resulted in hundreds of thousands of unnecessary American deaths and a collapse of the economy.
Biden has doubled Trump

I wasn't alive for Carter or Hoover but Biden is the worst I have seen in my lifetime. From what I have read the great depression was caused by a chain of events through over a decade of careless politicians. Eventually it just fell apart.
No, Clinton left a surplus, where government income from taxes etc. were greater than the amount the government was spending. If it makes you feel better, he was pushed into a lot of that by a Republican Senate. It's still a fact that GW turned it around and ended up with a recession. The way most Republican presidencies in recent times have ended.
i have to laugh at him saying he cares about inflation. trump is the only president in my lifetime that hasn't lied intentionally
The first two years of Reagan.
High interest rates, high inflation, high unemployment, Stagflation...
Are you asking who caused the worst economic period?
who had the worse economic presidency
FDR!!!
He inherited a mess but his policies made it worse!
It might have been Hoover but Biden still has time to make it worse
Obama. Who turned it around.
Joe Biden
Ronald Reagan.
you were not even alive. Just repeating what Communist professors told you after they rewrote History
This is what happens when you PREACH History instead of TEACHING History.
you mean what you wish things were
Ronald Reagan's economy was literally the best this country had ever seen.
@TwoToTooTutu2 No, that would have been during the late 40's and 50's.
No, the 80s had the largest median household income in the entire history of the US.
@TwoToTooTutu2 If you had a small business , you did well under Reagan. SNSl would fail at business , if she had $1 million to start with. She would lose it in 6 months. (I bet snorting it)
Reagan was great , I did well with my small business
