It is a hard question because each had highs and lows. I think Clinton had a good run. He was president during the big tech boom but was also there when it went bad. Reagan had a good economy most of his term and supported businesses and a pro America policy. Trump may have had the best economy. He inherited a disaster and turned it around with corporate and personal tax cuts and tariffs on foreign goods. He also negotiated better trade deals. Covid was a big problem and caused the economy to shut down during his last year in office. If that never happened there would be no doubt that he had the best economy. .
I like Trump but Tariffs did contribute to our product shortages. He should have gone after China and left others alone. We had minor shortages for certain items before Covid and the shut down.
I think he was more concerned about bringing jobs back so he concentrated on things like the steel industry which was getting decimated by China mostly.
world war 2 saved US , not FDR. Reagan's debt was pennies compared to Biden today. Biden already spent more than Trump and the others and he will double that with Ukraine
