How would you react if you heard someone say that the right are hypocrites?

I think it is a bit of a misplacement to call them hypocrites. What they are is scammers. They want the money and at any given moment the thing they have to say to maximize the money they get is the thing that they say. It doesn't matter if it contradicts what they said 5 seconds ago or if it contradicts what they do in their personal lives.

Their job is to come up with the magic words that cause the machinations of government to bring our tax money to them. Be those words, false, nonsense, poetry, ad libs, it doesn't matter. Their job is to say them.

Hypocrisy is of course going to become apparent when someone has given up all pretense of consistency but they have also given up all pretense of caring if they are called hypocrites. It makes the libs mad and that's all their base demands. The Republican party has successfully managed to turn all scrutiny into a way to manipulate their base into supporting hem even more strongly. To a scammer the only bad attention is no attention. And republicans are too well funded to ignore. Like if the Prince of Nigeria was given ten thousand news networks instead of one email redirected to your spam box - eventually people would start thinking he's really the Prince of nigeria..

Both sides do have hypocrites in them. So I'd give them some variables of this. Just so I can watch smoke come out of their ears. Also I do the same if someone said the left are hypocrites.
