Or how about this designer babies trend? Where the child is more of a pet than a human being? Well for something like 10 years Texas has been failing every review into its Childcare / foster system

its sort of a bit late to be thinking of what to do when the ship has sunk and the lifeboats are leaking.

The entire care system needs overhauled not just financially but safety as well.

There needs to be a huge increase in funding both to support these kids but to give them a fair chance at life, funded or semi funded college places.

then find out why so many are in care and seek to tackle those problems.

The things that often disqualify a single man from adopting do not disqualify a couple, a single woman, or a lesbian couple from adopting. If the system wasn't sexist against men, more kids would get adopted, particularly the older kids that often go without adoption at all.
