What your ideal for homeless people?

I say take these dark stores of Walmart and others stores, there a kitchen, bathrooms, and so much room to section off family single men and women. Please comment

Great idea, but. . .

1. Is it the proper function of government to provide our basic needs? If government assumes that obligation, even more people lose interest in working. Did you notice what happened when unemployment benefts were increased during the covid-19 debacle? What happened to the idea that people should be responsible for themselves?

2. Those stores are privately owned. Do you think the governmnt should pay for them, or just take them without any compensation to the owners?

3. If the government pays for them, where does the money come from?

4. Who provides the utilities, food, clothing, for all these people in government housing?

5. The ultimate outcome of these plans is that - eventually - almost everyone ends up living in fre government housing, no one s working to pay for anything, but that's kinda okay because, since no one is working, there s nothing to buy, and everyone starves to death.

That is a bad idea. There will just be drugs and fights and people will be beaten up. A lot of these people want to live on the street because most shelters don. t allow alcohol or drugs. The government needs to provide opportunities for people to get a job and take care of themselves. Handouts will just create more homelessness. Either that of just get the cops to chase them away. If it gets bad enough they will do something else.
