How to help homeless people, orphaned children, rape victims, etc? In your opinion, especially for pro-lifers what is the best way to help these peo?

The point is solely about what YOUR suggestions are for helping these people.

Why do we need suggestions for helping homeless children and orphans?

For orphaned children, do you mean ones that we already have here that are US citizens, or do you mean helping people in other countries with our tax money?

Homeless people need to make better choices in life. It isn't my responsibility to help an adult that had the same or better opportunities as I did in life, but they chose to do drugs, become alcoholics, or be lazy.
If they became homeless due to their job being lost because of lockdowns and their workplace went out of business they could use Pell grant money to retrain for another line of work in college.

For real rape victims, it already happened. nothing that is done now can undo what already happened.

We (collectively as a global level) need to understand the various reasons, causes etc that result in each item you lost, as they are not the same for each.

Mental health is a good starting point for a number of issues, better access, free access, less toxic attitude against those seeking mental health support.

For orphaned children, this varies greatly and reasons vary as does the age when orphaning occurs. Better social care which is well funded and is safe for those within the system.

Basically better funding for supporting facilities, better access to support facilities, removal of judgmental attitude against those that seek support.

Homeless people - volunteer at a homeless shelter or donate money to the organizations that run and support them. Don't give money to homeless people because they typically use it to buy drugs and alcohol.

Orphaned children - adopt one

Rape victims - volunteer for or donate money to an organization like NSVRC.

Well introduce after birth abortion with no age limit. Then we can abort homeless orphan rape victims. This appears to be not significantly different than what pro abortion people advocate for... who wants to be born to a poor family, yuck. So we didn't abort them before birth lets not let them down and abort them now.

Easy. Create well funded government programs that serve the citizens especially those in need.

It's such a basic and patriotic concept to help your fellow country man and woman.

We already have a lot of programs that are meant to do so. But you would be amazed how many people get turned down for such programs, no matter what side of the isle holds the majority in the government. My younger brother and I where raised by a single mother with cancer. After being turned down several times we stopped applying for aid. One of the main reasons that we where turned down was not being willing to accept all the aid being offered. Because it would put us in a situation where the government is reasonable for meeting all of our basic needs.

One of the big issues with that is that the more reasonable the government becomes for meeting our basic needs the easier it is for us to become subservient to our government. Also there is plenty of examples through out human history where people started becoming more dependent on their government, the more oppressive their government became. Simply because their peoples dependency on their government allowed it to do so.

Just so we care clear this is a list of side effects of radiation therapy and often you have deal with pretty much all of them on the list: Headaches, Hair loss, Nausea, Vomiting, Extreme fatigue, Hearing loss, Skin and scalp issues, Trouble with memory and speech and Seizures. Also she was left with serious dental issues due to radiation therapy causing intense tooth decay.

But we couldn't get help. So clearly these aid programs are not cracked up to what people make them out to be.

Look it's not about me disagreeing with you, I'm for aid programs. It's about people having this idea that current benefit programs are without issue and are currently meeting the needs of the people on them.

The ugly truth is that government aid programs fall very short of what they should be. For example payouts on things such as Federal Disability have not kept up with the cost of living increases over the years. So people who are on Federal Disability might not be able to fully cover things such as rent and food. Meaning they have to still have find work. Despite being legally disabled. Also such programs also have a strict limit on the hours a person can work during a week. Meaning that they are more then likely still not able to cover all their needs.

Also despite all of us paying into them via taxes does not mean we are all guaranteed to get benefits when we need them. For example someone with cancer that isn't terminal can't get federal disability or a lot of programs in various states. Meaning they end up working despite being on extremely strong chemo and radiation therapy they have to find a way to work through it. So people like my mother end up carrying around a trashcan. Simply because how often they throw up and are unable to make it to the restroom before they do.

Also it's not uncommon for employers to fire employees going through cancer treatments. Technically they can't but no everyone gets caught doing so or gets punished when they do.

Lastly there are people that do winding getting benefits despite not needing them. Sure the government and local governments do their best to ensure this does not happen. But they do not stop everyone. Also despite monitoring people on such programs some people manage do not get caught at any point. So they end up illegally on aid programs for years.

So before we stat talking about devoting more funding or expanding benefit programs. We really need to fix the major issue that are already present.
