Isn't hypocritical of Marjorie Green and the Republican party?

If government confiscated that formula for that purpose, it is theft. Holding drives for charity to help those families out at the border would have been more efficient. Moreover, in nations that have always had a scarcity of formula, mothers have become resilient about natural substitutes.
A guest on Joe Rogan's show even went so far as to say that these natural substitutes are better than the formula you'd normally buy, because they're less likely to be contaminated with heavy metals.
Several infant formula companies have been busted going lax on inspection, while doing business with China. Suddenly... boom! US infant formula with traces of lead and mercury, followed by a rapid increase in autism rates!
So it isn't just a formula shortage, or an unreliable and dishonest government. It's a loss of capacity of the public to innovate - or even be curious! Granted, that is also a symptom of us tolerating mindsets that beget governments that love to punish innovation.
Where is your evidence that MTG or any Republican has
“fought against food stamps”? Isn’t the shortage, which disproportionately affects WIC recipients, the real issue you should be worried about? Apparently half of all baby formula is bought using WIC.
Furthemore, there used to be a lot of fraud using food stamps- firearms and drugs were often bought with them (my guess is that it’s the fraud that had some people concerned). Food stamps are actually a subsidy to US farmers, and Republicans aren’t known to be very opposed to those.

Yeah Republicans pick your self up by the bootstraps are Dumb.
They are inky winning right now because democrats wanna. gay/Trans shit on peoples kids.
Oh and CRT which I don't know what that is. But it sounds like American history lol. I'm pretty sure there gay shit in there too.
Or letting in immigrant labor and trying to get them voting rights
Dems need to get the inflation under control fast or it's over. I mean they gonna lose this year and 2024. But they can start prepping for 2028
What isn't hypocritical of the Republican Party? They don't even realize they're hurting the very group who supports them. Most people don't know it but whites are the majority of those on welfare and foodstamps, especially in poor states like West Virginia, Arkansas, and others in the south and midwest where there are few opportunities for a better life, and also a lot of these states are run by Republican governors.
i'm afraid you are the victim of false statistics
"food insecurity" just means you don't know where your next meal is coming from, technically i was food insecure that one time i forgot to bring lunch to work.
so a "food insecure" person is not starving, not running out of food, and is not in danger. there is nothing to fix. it's a tricky left wing statistic to manipulate people's emotions.
so now we are facing REAL food shortages, it is not the same thing. and you should not treat it the same way
There are divisions within the Republican Party, so someone like Green can have her opinion while the boomer conservatives can keep talking about “pulling yourself up by the bootstraps.” If our system functioned with more than two parties, a lot of Republicans wouldn’t be Republicans.
So you think we should still help them even if it means American citizen babies will go without?
Lmao. Way to conflate two completely different situations.
They need to be called out on their B. S. They just playing politics to win political brownie points..
She’s not wrong, tho.
Republicans out give to charities than dems. Including food banks
I'm talking government programs to help families not individual donations to local food banks which can't possibly help out the millions of struggling families throughout the whole country.
Food insecurity is always a problem for some people...
but don’t act like a nationwide baby formula shortage was the status quo.
