Do this, see what rents are, utilities, food, your transportation costs, car payments, gas insurance etc.
Add all of that up and that will tell you what you need each month at a minimum what you need.
Don't forget deductions for these, health insurance, retirement, and some to put away just in case, and fun money
That wi tell you what you need.
Getting/being a roommate can help out with your rent costs.
