It appears Twitter the misinformation police is producing the most misinformation of anyone. Could this possibly be true of such a fine upstanding organization is Twitter? Lol Is it possible all big tech is a bunch of liars propagandists, socialist pigs? Pull out of the deal Elon, thank you for now bringing this to everyone's attention. Although it is not news for a huge number of us. One more conspiracy turned fact. Hehehe

Some months ago I read one of the biggest sources of misinformation (which would include bigotry and fake news) was WhatsApp and groups inside it in particular. I think it still might be a bigger problem than Twitter since the latter has, some intervention on the network's part. Example: Trump's account being suspended.

I am constantly watching sites and TV that watchdog misinformation, it is a huge threat to your perception and World view.

What would you suggest as a solution to misinformation? Censoring people in a free society is not acceptable, so what do we do? Are we supposed to wave our first amendment rights? Because you can't let them censor just part of the information because once we do the door is open wide and we will lose our first amendment rights. They're trying their damnedest to do it now. Biden's "ministry of Truth" coming online who is being led by the queen of misinformation herself "the ministry of Truth" is all about spouting lies. Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini are three other people in history that had "ministries of Truth" So again what do we do? I know for 2 years I've been screaming things about covid and vaccines and have been banned, post-taken down etc just to find out 6 months 10 months 18 months later I was correct the whole time. We get no apology, we get nothing for the censorship. So what do we do that would be a fair option other than let people make up their own damn minds? Let grown ups be grown ups and deal with the consequences
of their actions. Right now we are dealing with results of mainstream medias censorship, big tech censorship of the "right", and refusal to report Trump's achievements. Yeah we are all paying the price literally and figuratively for mainstream Big Tech censorship campaign which is now going global by the way

It is very, very important not to be pigeonholed in a single person, media or means of communication. That is why I pointed out WhatsApp, which you skimmed over.

If you want to fight misinformation a good first step is not talking only to the same few people, read only the same newspaper, watch only one politics show... You get my drift. You have to be in contact with other points of view, not just for a more balanced view yourself but also for checks and balances and additional information and verification.

It is very dangerous to only keep looking for validation of your own views, and people do that, in social media too, since you touched upon it. The same things over and over until nothing else registers.

I appreciate your response. I have separated myself from the echo Chambers long ago.. I got away from Instagram Facebook, Twitter and focus my efforts on a more diverse channel on tiktok which I am now at around 80,000 followers. It's a pretty mixed crowd im proud to say. It's like waking up in a boxing ring most mornings. What you're describing is exactly what I'm trying to get people to do. I was happy to see they halted the "ministry of Truth" panel for a moment anyway. I try not to get my information from what I call mainstream media including Fox News and newsmax and CNN MSNBC etc to me those are all mainstream media.
