Is social networking changing us into introverts?

Socializing used to be a necessary skill that made us successful, and self confident. Now we rely on social networking for advice, and companionship. Are we becoming to dependent on the internet?

oh wow i kinda actually agree with this one. i do think that some (not all, probably not even a lot) people rely too heavily on the internet to socialise. i don't think the the internet is turning them into introverts though, they probably already had lacking social skills or some sort of issue that made socialising hard for them and are now choosing the easy way out.

by the way not all introverts avoid socialising at all costs. i'm very introverted but still have a large amount of friends and enjoy going out or partying. i just need enough time to recharge afterwards.
