I think it's a womans right to get an abortion untill 12 weeks (After that only for very difficult medical reasons). The fact that the USA is literally going 50 years back in time by banning abortions is disgusting if you ask me. Especially because this decision has been made by a group of men.

I don't know if you know but most pro-lifers do not see rape as an excuse. A few days ago i saw a pro-lifer say that rape is an opportunity for woman to become a great mother.

I honestly don't care, and find it interesting that you care more when you don't live in the US. If I'm with a woman in a relationship, I'm wanting to work towards having a family together, my shits already together.

If it's a one night stand situation, I don't care what happens to her, it's no strings attached, my real name is never coming up. If women can get them, or can't get them, it doesn't affect me in the slightest, nor do I feel some prick on my conscience for the poor greater whole one way or another.

Regardless of which way it plays out, people make decisions, there are consequences for their decisions, and life goes on, or it doesn't. Whatever, there are other things for me to worry about in my hours of the day like playing with my kids, making sure their paperwork is right for next school year, spending time with my wife, looking for a girlfriend, going to church, things that are, you know, enjoyable.

Yes I care more than you do, even though I do not live in the USA. Why you might ask? I believe it's a woman's right to make a decision about abortion. I want to support my fellow woman from the USA. You are misinformed on some tings here. First, there are both male and female justices on the Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe v Wade.

Second, views on abortion in the US are the same among women as they are among men. In fact, there are more women than men who oppose abortion. So please stop being a typical feminist and trying to make this a men versus women issue, because it's not. It's an ideological issue.

I support a woman's right to have an abortion, but I don't support the way feminists use abortion as another way to divide the sexes.

I also don't support the disingenuousness of the "my body, my choice" argument because when women choose to have an abortion it is almost always for reasons like not wanting a baby to interfere with their education or career, not being in a stably relationship with the father or just being ready to become a parent. So it's really more like "my body, my excuse".

I think it's a woman's right to get an abortion until there's some notion that the fetus may have consciousness. That's some time well after 24 weeks of gestation, and no medical professional will perform an elective abortion after 24 weeks except in extremis.

For me the whole issue is getting out of hand becomes more and more ideological. I don´t know if there is a solution to be found, for me the whole debate is about two sides shouting and accusing each other of various accusations that may be right or not.
Part of the issue that only women can get pregnant naturally and that it may become harder in the future because the testosterone level of guys and also the sperm quality is going down. That way I rather see it as a first world problem that will never be solved but has to viewed each case on its own.

First of all, the SCOTUS is NOT banning abortions.
The 10th amendment states that powers not given to the Federal Government remain with the states. Period! The SCOTUS is finally recognizing the fallacy of even getting involved in R vs. W, because the US Government does NOT have the power to do so: the STATES do!.
Second- it's murder. Court precedent has been established for that. An attacker who murders a pregnant female is guilty of two murders if the baby dies as a result of the attack.

Religious theology aside, it seems so wrong to just kill a fetus in the womb. It has a beating heart within 3 to 4 weeks of conception. With access to a variety of birth control options, there’s virtually no excuse. If you’re that irresponsible, then do the right thing and give it up for adoption. 1. I don't care about religion. If you are religious that's completely fine but don't push those believes on other people.
2. Yes it does have a heartbeat within 3-4 weeks, but after 12 weeks its considered to be actually alive. I have read multiple articles on this and also went to a museum where you could see the fetus from week to week. It literally does like not grow at al in the first few weeks.
3. Adoption is not the right solution for this. Adoptions are often abusive or the children don't end up in a nice house. Once they turn 18 they get kicked out to be on their own aswell. The children often feel like they are not wanted and the adoption centre would be way too overpopulated if all the children are being put up for adoption. It's way more problematic than you think it is. Beside that it's not always about the child itself, but also about the pregnancy in general that can be very traumatic and painful.
4. I don't think in 100 years they will think this was sadistic. It's a clump of cells that is not alive yet. More than half of the USA does not stand behind abortions.
5. You're not ending the life of someone else if that person did not even exist yet (unless after 12 weeks. Doctors have said themself that after 12 weeks abortions are not legal anymore, which is understandable. Literally doctors have said that)

First the judges, both male and female voted on this. Secondly they found that "Row vs Wade", the bases for the right to abortion was not correct. That the courts when they first ruled on this was mislead and therefore needed to be overturned. They did not say abortion is right or wrong. Only that the case they originally based it on was full of lies and manipulations. This is what the judges found when going over the case.
For those who want abortion to be legal they need only draft legislation that can passed into law and do it without the misleading lies.

Of course we will never understand the whole pregnancy process but I think a man should have a say in it w their partner. Otherwise it goes back to people not being able to vote on things they aren’t a part of. So if you’re not a wealthy, rich white lady you shouldn’t be able to vote on things they do.
