What are your thoughts on Abortion?

Abortion rights are the only thing I agree with the democrats on.


What frustrates me is how I’ve seen so many debates and a lot of these girls don’t bring up points that absolutely melt the logic of the pro life argument.

1. There are instances where a woman should AT LEAST, have the right to chose to conceive a child. (The loudest pro life voices are males, yeah it’s easy for a guy to be pro life and force women to conceive a child, when the policy doesn’t affect them personally)


2. “It’s not the kids choice” was it the girls choice to get raped that resulted in her getting pregnant? No right?


3. It’s murder (if the abortion is done early enough you really are just destroying cells) so if killing cells is on the same level of killing a person. Then treating cancer is criminally wrong, and also to men. Boys, if that’s the case when you bust a nut by ejaculation which results in no pregnancies, that’s also murder… by that definition.


Common sense, leave women have their rights. Do I think women should wait till last minute to abort though? No. UNLESS the labor is life threatening. But that is extremely rare.

Small wonder old school liberals feel jaded and betrayed by modern leftists. Truthfully, for the first few weeks, I don't particularly care. The lefts inability to set any kind of deadline (pardon the pun) here is what's ghoulish. Heartbeat was a reasonable one (though I think it's a stupid and meaningless point), no one cares about brain activity (what I think is actually important), and some (let's pretend they're) people don't even care about basically fully formed 3rd trimester babies. Quite frankly given the choice of no abortions and the annual holocaust of todays world, I'd opt for no child sacrifices. The worst thing is the lefts complete inability to conceive of a single valid point to defend their position, every attempt to justify their belies is an abortion of logic and reason.

Any rape, incest, medical necessity, pedo shit or insert-bullshit-excuse-here argument falls flat on it's face since, for one, if those are really the only scenarios you wanna protect, there is zero need to protect abortion in other circumstances and those bullshit exceptions cover less the 1% of all abortions.

And remember how decades ago the right was saying that if leftys get what they want it was gonna lead to women using abortions as contraceptive, leftys would point at it and laugh, say that was never gonna happen. Well, we live in a day and age where some daemons have serial abortions, use it as contraceptive and some studies found that nearly half of abortion 'patients' have had prior abortions. Abortions are nothing more than a way out, murdering a child so you could live a life free of responsibility, drop the pretense of moral high ground and face the consequences of your decisions instead.

I think the situation is complicated because both camps use arguments the other side isn´t interested or affected by. Firstly things get complicated because only one sex can get pregnant. Your second argument isn´t good because not all women that want an abortion have been raped. Many were perfectly to have sex with a guy it´s not like every sexual intercourse is rape. It´s not like women couldn´t say no to sex either.
The comparison of busting a nut and an abortion is completely flawed because even if you didn´t masturbate the sperm dies after some times to make room for new sperm. It´s not like you keep your sperm for ever if you didn´t ejaculate. Since the male body constantly produces sperm.
The problem is that the is personal and emotional. From my experience the loudest voices on both sides are male because many guys are pro-choice since that allows to have as much sex as they want without any consequences since they don´t have to live with medical consequences of an abortion either.

Abortion should be legal in all countries. they should be done in a way that they don't hurt the mother. Abortion should be allowed if a girl was raped, if there are huge chances for diseases or troubles with birth,... They shouold be allowed if parents aren't stable (for example if they're narcomans and if they're on streets). Abortion should be a choice between a couple, but the last decision should be from a female.

Furtermore I strongly disagree with using abortion as contraception or if parents are irresponsible (beause morning pill does exist).

Your "common sense" is nothing more than your opinion. Let's leave opinions out of it. Here are some facts for you.

1. Women obviouslt DO have the right to concieve a child. No one is denying that. And no, the loudest voices on the pro life side are not men. Abortion is not a gender issue, it's an ideological issue, and men and women are equally split on the subject. In fact, some studies show women tend to be more pro-life than men, even though that's not what you'll hear from the feminist camp, for obvious reasons.

2. Most people do not argue women should not have the right to an abortion in cases of rape, incest and threat to the health or life or the mother or fetus, so this one is moot.

3. Cancer is not a human life. A fetus is. Human life begins at conception. It's indisputeable science.

I personally believe women should have the right to an abortion in the scenarios I mentioned above. But the fact is in 95% of cases abortion has been used as after-the-fact birth control, which is disgusting. It should not be legal for a mother to kill her own child inside her womb because having that child would not be convenient.

I never really thought about it much. I always just wanted to leave it up to the mother. Then somebody I know gave birth to twins,2 months prematurely. I saw these little babies in the hospital. They were barely 3 pounds a piece. Still you could tell they were humans. One if them kept squeezing my finger. With modern medical technology they both survived and after a long hospital stay they grew to a normal weight and were allowed to go home. They are now healthy and normal twin boys. I could not help but think that there are plenty of these babies that get aborted 2 months before their due date and that they are not fetuses but babies. A real determination must be made to figure out at what point do thay stop being a lump of cells and when do they become a little human?
I don't know who can make the decision but I know it is not the President who would allow an abortion after birth and it is no rather Pope that just says no abortions.

If rape or risk of the mother dying while giving birth wasn’t a thing I would be against abortion. Unfortunately those circumstances do happen, although not common. They happen and given the amount of people in this world, it happens at large quantities.

I heard an abortion doctor talking on TV. He said he had done hundreds of abortions. But then one day one of the little bugger kicked his hand with its tiny little foot. The doctor broke out in tears, and never did another abortion.
The "fight or flight" response comes from the "reptilian cortex" part of the brain. This very primitive part of our brain makes 90% of our decisions.
People can make up their own bullshit claims that it's just a clump of cells, but that little clump of cells desperately wanted to have a life. It tried, but it lost the battle to a doctor.

In general, there might be another issue or two but in general, agree. I try not to think about it, it's a personal issue for most. If the mother/father (neither) are going to care for the child, and there isn't a line of people waiting to adopt that can... then the life has no chance. It's sad, people are stupid and don't think... it's really awful.

The rest of it is just a bunch of legal words to make it seem right or wrong. It's awful and wrong, but the parents or an adoptee needs to save the life.

It's outdated. There's the morning after pill and there's an abortion pill. If a woman doesn't want a baby, both of those are readily available in the US if she's smart enough to use them in the first month. It ain't 1955 anymore, time for women to pull their heads out of their asses and not wait until there's an actual baby in there. Abortions are still available up to 6 months pregnancy in some states and that is actually killing a baby. My friend's daughter was born at 6 months and survived just fine.

One of my friends explained it like this- He said his girlfriend got an abortion the first time he got her pregnant. That was about 16 years ago. They later had 2 sons and a daughter, all really great kids. He said he still thinks about it at night all the time before bed. Feeling guilty about agreeing to that first abortion, wondering who that kid would have been.

@strateguy632 this was my personal belief for many years before, thank God, Roe was overturned. This would be my Federal law as President of these United States.

10weeks gives plenty of time for a women to miss her periods and realize she’s pregnant and make a decision, 10weeks and after the child has already developed brain function and most organs have developed. The exceptions come from late term complications with pregnancy for either mother or child that can be terminal for either mother or child pre or post birth. No point of carrying to term a life and allowing that child to suffer and die in your arms. May God have mercy on us all.
