Can you argue with stupid centric people?

Why argue?
What is the point of the discussion anways?
I am at the point of my life where I just want to leave in peace, and not add more stress.
Sure, there will be times I would argue because I am bored, but most of the time.. nah.

You don't argue with such people. To argue would mean they actually have a point to get across somewhere, which they don't.

Everyone has to start somewhere. I just joined a music theory channel and I'm such a neophyte. I also have a lot of beliefs from being self-taught which might be wrong about how music works.

You can't always teach people like me so well. We kind of have to learn the hard way. I think learning something which challenges what we think is always hard. It's not a matter of easy vs. hard. It's a matter of hard vs. harder. The people who put in the effort to correct our misinterpretations make things less hard, but it's always going to be hard.

There are people whose minds are fully and finally made up, so much so that they want to silence your opinion. There are some here that will ask questions looking for an opportunity to pick a fight and discredit your opinion. Do not engage them when the rhetoric starts.

I try to have an open mind, I never assume I’m right. I argue like I’m right of course. Once I stop having an open mind progress in myself has stopped. If you don’t have an open mind you are no better than your peers who have fallen into disillusion. Some people are a waste of time, but not for the belief they have.

Oh, yeah I guess. Self centered perhaps. I mean I don't necessarily agree as religion helps fuel charities and community organizing which is great.
