America has had guns in our culture from the very start. It's part of our Constitution. Unless that gets changed, guns will continue to be a part of American life. I don't forsee the 2A being changed or removed any time soon.

I also agree the school shooting today IS a very tragic event. I'm glad the shooter is dead.

But I have to ask everyone... what specific law or laws or policies do you propose to prevent this from happening? And no, you cannot ban guns, or go door-to-door in an attempt to collect them. How do you keep the bad guys from using guns and still allow the good guys to keep them? Take "action"? Sure - like what?

What "actions" do you think will actually do anything? I can think of at least two that would be extremely popular to the general public and actually do something of value, but I would bet pretty much everything I own that neither party would even consider either one. There is a few hundred, maybe thousand cases of voter fraud. Sure not enough to change anything, but no big deal... its only a few hundred and voting is a right.

Well so is gun ownership, its only a few hundred a year killed in mass shootings, once you subtract suicides and gang warfare. The vast majority is suicides and gang killings.

Democrats don't want to take action either, if they did they would secure the border and get to the root of the problem. Not focus on a tool.
