Single mothers are a symptom of the real problem. The destruction of the family by entities within government who seek to replace the family and religion among citizens in the US is the real problem. All liberal-based policies seek to do this.

Yep. While I admire their will to do it all in their own, most do struggle unnecessarily. It’s in everyone’s best interest (generally speaking) to have two partners involve. Exceptions to this are toxic, unwell, or abusive parents. Not only that, single motherhood lets the men off too easy. Fathers need to be changing diapers, pushing their kid in the stroller, helping them with homework, and taking them to appointments too. We need to get rid of this baby daddy bs.

Single mothers to blame? No, not really, but unlike what many feminists will say, having a single parent family is never the best for ANY kid, boy or girl.

People should take FAR more consideration in who they marry and just as bad, who they go to bed with and end up pregnant.

The feminization of America definitely hasn't helped young males grow up well, that's for certain. This BS that it "takes a village" is just that - pure garbage! It takes two VERY responsible parents (yes, Male AND Female) to raise responsible children.

I would say it's because God was taken out of public schools. An older person told me that before the 1950's, even public schools started each day with Christian prayer and that teachers taught life lessons from The Holy Bible. You reap what you sow. Yes and no. Both parents are to blame for it. Bad parenting causes a lot of issues. Men not stepping up and raising their own kids and woman not having a better venting ability so they won't get pregnant by guys who aren't any good. Of course parenting may not have anything to do with it. Could be something more mental or something that has to do with school or something

@Subarugirl MEN are held accountable. Men only have custody about 11% of the time which means men have to pay alimony and child support 89% of the time. Also, he goes to jail if he falls behind in payments (even if he doesn't even enough to pay her), than he goes to jail "until he can afford to pay her"... insanity. Do we need to talk about suicide rates of men who are kept from their kids?

Let's talk paternity fraud. The mother puts a guys name on the birth certificate (regardless of who's sperm impregnated her), and he has to pay until he proves he isn't the Father (which can take a year or more and is expensive), with no refunds for what he has payed her.

I'm sorry but women have created and continue to perpetuate this massive problem.
